4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Compatibility Check

Before installation, confirm your car's dashboard type to ensure compatibility and receive the correct wiring harness. This unit is designed for Honda Civic 2012-2015 Left Hand Drive models.

4.2 Wiring Diagram and Connections

  • HDMI Input: Connect external devices like gaming consoles or media players.

  • Audio Outputs: RCA outputs for various channels (FL, FR, RL, RR, SUB, CEN).
  • AVM360: Interface for 360-degree panoramic camera (camera sold separately, activation fee applies).

The power cable may vary depending on your specific purchase option. Ensure you use the correct power cable provided.

Retained Original Features: The head unit is designed to retain your vehicle's original features, including the OEM Amplifier, Factory Reverse Camera, Factory Subwoofer, and Factory Steering Wheel Control.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Initial Power On and Boot Up

Once installed, insert the car key. The unit will start up immediately and enter the user interface within 2-5 seconds. The first boot-up may take approximately 20 seconds. The device supports quick wake-up from sleep mode in less than 1 second.

5.2 User Interface and Navigation

The unit runs on Genuine Android 13, offering a comprehensive interface for navigation, entertainment, and third-party applications.

5.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

The unit features Qualcomm 3031 chip Bluetooth 5.1/5.2 for low power consumption, faster transmission, and stable signal. It supports audio streaming, automatic phone book transfer, and hands-free calls.

Note: aptX/aptX HD Audio is compatible with Android phones only. iPhone defaults to the AAC codec.

5.4 Audio Features and Equalization

The unit features a TDA7850 Amplifier and AKM 7739 DSP for Velvet Sound, along with an AKM 4432 DAC for High-Fidelity Sound.

5.6 GPS and Navigation

Integrated Multiband GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS) supports GNSS L1 and L5 bands for accurate positioning.

5.7 Camera Integration (Optional)

The unit supports front and rear cameras for enhanced driving safety.

During driving, you can freely switch between the front and rear camera views to observe the driving environment. Note that these cameras are optional accessories and need to be purchased separately.

360 Panoramic Camera: The unit supports a 360-degree panoramic camera via a dedicated interface. The camera itself is not included and requires separate purchase. An additional fee of USD 30 applies for activation of the 360-degree view function.

5.8 OBD2 Integration (Optional)

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Display

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the QLED display. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

6.2 Software Updates

Periodically check for software updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features. Updates can typically be found through the system settings or the manufacturer's official website.

6.3 System Reset

If the unit experiences persistent issues, a system reset may resolve them. Refer to the system settings for options to perform a soft or factory reset. A factory reset will erase all user data and settings.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Explore the extensive sound customization options with the 48-band EQ and various sound effect styles to tailor the audio experience to your personal preference.
  • Consider purchasing optional accessories like the AR Front/Rear Cameras or a 360 panoramic camera for enhanced driving safety and convenience. Remember that the 360-degree camera requires an additional activation fee.
  • Ensure your SIM card is compatible with the supported network frequency bands, as Russian SIM cards are not supported.

9. Warranty and Support

This product comes with a 24-month manufacturer warranty. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

  • Improper wiring
  • Incorrect voltage operation (outside 10V-14V)
