4.2 Transmitter Installation
The transmitter (doorbell button) can be installed using either adhesive mounting or screw mounting.

Figure 3: Transmitter Installation Methods
Method 1: Adhesive Patch Mounting
- Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is free of dust and moisture.
- Peel off one side of the protective film from the adhesive pad and stick it firmly to the back of the transmitter.
- Peel off the other side of the protective film and press the transmitter firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.
Method 2: Screw Mounting
- Open the transmitter casing (usually by prying gently from the bottom or side with a small screwdriver).
- Place the back plate of the transmitter on the desired mounting surface and mark the positions for the screw holes.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked positions and insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Secure the back plate to the wall using the provided screws.
- Attach the transmitter front cover back onto the secured back plate.
4.3 Pairing (Code-learning)
The doorbell set is usually pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed or you add more transmitters/receivers:
- Plug in the receiver.
- Press and hold the 'Next/Code-learning' button on the receiver for approximately 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
- Within 10 seconds, press the 'Play' button on the transmitter. The receiver will chime and its indicator light will flash, confirming successful pairing.
- To pair additional transmitters, repeat steps 2-3 for each new transmitter.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Changing Melodies
- Press the 'Next/Code-learning' button on the receiver to cycle through the 60 available melodies forward.
- Press the 'Previous/Mode Switching' button to cycle through melodies backward.
- Once you hear a desired melody, stop pressing the button. The receiver will save this selection.
5.2 Adjusting Volume
- Press the 'Volume/Code-clearing' button on the receiver repeatedly to cycle through the 5 volume levels (0-120dB).
- The receiver will indicate the current volume level with a chime or visual cue.
- The lowest volume setting typically activates a 'Mute Mode' where only the indicator light flashes.
5.3 Mute Mode
To activate Mute Mode, repeatedly press the 'Volume/Code-clearing' button until the volume reaches its lowest setting. In this mode, the receiver's indicator light will still flash when the doorbell is pressed, but no sound will be emitted.
5.4 Low Voltage Indicator
The transmitter is typically battery-powered. When the transmitter's battery is low, its indicator light may flash intermittently or fail to light up when pressed, or the signal range may decrease. Replace the battery promptly to ensure continuous operation.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the units in water.
6.2 Battery Replacement (Transmitter)
When the transmitter's battery is low, open the casing (refer to installation method 2 for guidance) and replace the old battery with a new one of the same type (e.g., 12V 23A or CR2032, depending on model). Ensure correct polarity.
