Installation Steps:

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Interface Overview

The main interface provides quick access to various functions and displays essential information. The screen is designed for intuitive navigation.

Main Screen Elements:

  1. Internet / Phone Internet: Select the type of connected device.
  2. Original Vehicle Information Display: Shows information from your motorcycle.
  3. Configuration / Set Up: Access device settings.
  4. Brightness Adjustment: Adjust screen brightness or enable automatic brightness mode.
  5. Position: Displays the vehicle's current position.

6.2 Wireless CarPlay Connection (for iPhone)

To connect your iPhone via wireless CarPlay:

  1. On the MB6 device, navigate to the CarPlay connection screen.
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  3. Search for and connect to the Bluetooth signal named "carabc xxxx" (where xxxx is a unique identifier).
  4. After connecting, a prompt box will appear on the MB6 screen. Select "Use CarPlay" to enter the CarPlay screen mirroring function.

Note: The first connection may take longer. Only Apple phones are supported for CarPlay.

6.3 Wireless Android Auto Connection (for Android Phones)

To connect your Android phone via wireless Android Auto:

  1. On the MB6 device, navigate to the Android Auto connection screen.
  2. On your Android phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  3. Search for and connect to the Bluetooth signal named "carabc xxxx".
  4. After connecting, a prompt box will appear. Click "Pairing" to enter the Android Auto screen mirroring function.

Note: Only Android phones are supported for Android Auto.

6.4 Original Vehicle Information Display

To view your motorcycle's original information:

  1. From the main interface, click on the dedicated icon (often represented by a vehicle or dashboard symbol) to enter the original car display interface.
  2. You can switch between different views of vehicle information by clicking on the appropriate icons within this interface.

6.5 Settings Interface

To access and adjust device settings:

  1. From the main interface, click on the settings icon (gear symbol) to enter the main interface settings page.
  2. Here you can configure various options such as USB mode, language, display format, screen saver, tire settings, Wi-Fi, speed unit, GPS switch, GPS information, time zone, reset options, level calibration, and tire pressure unit.

The CARABC MB6 supports direct control using your BMW motorcycle's original "Magic Wheel" (factory rollers), eliminating the need for additional equipment and ensuring safer driving.

Once the MB6 is installed, the TFT of your instrument panel will highlight. Press and hold the designated button (usually on the Magic Wheel, indicated by a '5' in diagrams) to switch to NAV mode and enable control of the car screen via the original car wheel/button.
