Setup and Installation

1. Package Contents

Before starting the installation, please verify that all components are present:

  • Machine (Head Unit)
  • Power Cable
  • RCA Cable
  • Reversing Camera (Optional, if purchased)

  • Microphone (MIC)

2. Compatibility Check

3. Wiring Connections

Refer to the diagram below for connecting the various cables to the back of the head unit.

4. Rear View Camera Connection (Optional)

If you have an optional rear view camera, follow these steps to connect it:

  1. Red cable (2) connects to the back light "+".
  2. Black cable (1) connects to the "GND".
  3. The reverse detection cable (4) (Brown color) connects to the red cable (3) which extends from the video output cable.

5. CAN BUS Settings

If your car requires a CAN BUS connection, configure it through the factory settings:

  1. Connect automotive cables and CAN BUS cables.
  2. Enter factory settings. Password is 8888 or 123456.
  3. Select CAN BUS setting.
  4. Select CAN BUS type.
  5. Select car model.
  6. Select the year of the car.

6. ADAS DVR Installation (Optional)

If you have an optional ADAS DVR, you can install its software via USB:

  1. Connect the DVR via USB cable to the head unit.
  2. Access the File Manager on the head unit.
  3. Locate the DVR installation file (e.g., uCarDvr.apk) on the USB drive.
  4. Install the software.
  5. Confirm successful installation.

7. TPMS Installation (Optional)

If you have an optional TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), install the sensors in your tires. Once correctly installed, the system will automatically monitor tire pressure and temperature, sending real-time statistics to the receiver.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  • Click on the icon: To launch an application or function.
  • Return to main interface: Click the home icon Home icon.
  • Open recently run program: Click the recent apps icon Recent apps icon.
  • Close screen/resume: Click the close screen icon Close screen icon, then click anywhere on the screen to resume.
  • Return to previous interface: Press the back button Back icon on any interface.

Status Bar Icons

  • USB icon : Read USB device display.
  • Time icon : Current system display time.
  • Bluetooth icon : Bluetooth connection succeeded.
  • GPS icon : GPS icon.
  • Network icon : Network connection successful.

Other Operation Instructions

  • Drop-down menu: Slide down from the top of the display screen to access system notifications, adjust brightness/volume, open settings, and manage wireless network.
  • Move/Delete applications: Long press an application icon on the main interface to move its location or delete third-party applications.

Radio Functions

Click the radio icon to access FM/AM radio.

  • Bands: Includes FM1, FM2, FM3. Click the switch button to select.
  • Auto switch bands: Click the icon Auto switch bands icon.
  • Search for stations: Click the icon Search stations icon.
  • Browse/Save stations: Click the icon Browse/Save stations icon.
  • EQ interface: Click the icon EQ icon.
  • Fine tune search: Click forward Forward icon or backward Backward icon, or drag the progress bar.
  • Radio frequency scale bar: Radio frequency scale bar.
  • Search button: When searching/browsing, a blue indicator will appear.
  • Direct tuning: Slide the frequency bar to the desired station.

Radio Settings

Access factory settings, enter password, and click radio settings.

  • Local Setting: Click to select region (Asia, Europe, North America, South America) for FM frequency range.
  • RDS: Click to enable/disable RDS. When enabled, RDS keys will display.
  • RDS Modes (TA and AF):
    • AF (Auto Focus): Automatically searches for other channels of the current radio station for a better and stable frequency.
    • TA (Traffic Announcement): For traffic program/traffic announcement detection and automatic switching.
    • TP (Traffic Program): Indicates if the current station supports traffic signals.

Music Playback

Click the music icon to manage audio playback.

  • View playlists: Access playlist, favorite list, and recent playlist.
  • Collect songs: Click the heart icon; it turns red upon successful collection.
  • View file library: Click the folder icon File library icon.
  • Playing modes:
    • Random play Random play icon: Switch to cyclic list/single playing mode.
    • Circular list play Circular list play icon: Switch to random play/single play mode.
    • Single play Single play icon: Switch to cyclic list/random play mode.
  • Controls: Play Play icon, Pause Pause icon, Previous song Previous song icon, Next song Next song icon.
  • Sound effect settings: Click the equalizer icon Sound effect settings icon.

Other Music Operations:

  • Delete song: In the song list, long press the name of the song.
  • Seek: While playing music, slide the play progress bar to the desired track time.

Video Playback

Click the video icon to play video files from HD and USB. Swipe left to see all video lists.

  • Currently playing videos: Swipe right to see the list of videos currently playing.
  • Controls: Play Play video icon, Pause Pause video icon, Previous video Previous video icon, Next video Next video icon.
  • Zoom: Zoom in Zoom in icon, Zoom out Zoom out icon.

Other Video Operations:

  • Seek: While playing video, slide the playback progress bar to the desired track time.

Bluetooth Functions

Click the Bluetooth icon to manage connections and calls.

  • Connection Status: If not connected, "Bluetooth is not connected" appears. If connected, "Bluetooth connected successfully" appears.
  • Bluetooth Settings: Click the Bluetooth icon Bluetooth settings icon to enter settings.
  • Pairing: The device name can be used to search for open Bluetooth devices.
  • Dialing Interface: Click the phone icon Dialing interface icon.
  • Contact Interface: Click the contacts icon Contact interface icon.
  • Call Recording Interface: Click the call record icon Call recording interface icon.
  • Collection Interface: Click the collection icon Collection interface icon.
  • Dialing: After successful connection, the dial button is displayed, and you can dial numbers directly.
  • Hang up: Click the red phone icon Hang up icon.
  • Answer: Click the green phone icon Answer icon.
  • Switch call audio: Switch between car terminal Car terminal icon and mobile terminal Mobile terminal icon.
  • Update call record: Click the call record icon Update call record icon to synchronize records from mobile to car.
  • Update address book: Click the address book icon Update address book icon.

Bluetooth Music

Requires mobile phone to be connected via Bluetooth.

  • Play music: Click the play icon Play music icon.
  • Pause music: Click the pause icon Pause music icon.
  • Previous/Next song: Use the respective icons Previous song icon / Next song icon.

Sound Settings

  • Select different types of preset sound effects.
  • Customize user mode to adjust frequency band.
  • Customize heavy bass and surround sound.
  • Click "Reset" to restore default sound effect settings.
  • Boot Memory Volume Range: Pull down and click sound setting or enter settings. If main volume is 10 when off, and boot memory is set to 13-30, it defaults to 13 on again. If main volume is 33 when off, it defaults to 30 on again.

File Manager

  • Query files, expand files.
  • Query pictures, video, audio, recent files.
  • Download pictures, storage space, pictures, video, audio can be copied to specified locations.

Steering Wheel Key Learning

This feature allows you to map functions to your car's steering wheel buttons.

  1. Click "Select button" to choose the learning button.
  2. Select functions: mode, power supply, navigation, main interface, volume +/-, FM, AM, search radio, previous/next song, play/pause, mute, return, Bluetooth, hang up, answer, APP. Up to 12 buttons can be selected.
  3. Choose short or long press for each function.
  4. Click "Start", select a function, and press the steering wheel button to learn.
  5. "Restore factory" removes all learned keys.
  6. Click "Save" to exit the application after learning.

Car Settings

Access various car-related settings:

  • Network: Click to enter WIFI connection interface; optional manual network connection.
  • Bluetooth: Enter interface for pairing new devices.
  • Display: Set brightness for day/night and wallpaper.
  • Dormancy: Set hibernation aging and mode.
  • Body Settings: Handbrake detection setting (open, close, cover).
  • Navigation Settings:
    • Select third-party navigation softening.
    • Adjust mixing ratio for navigation voice volume with other audio.
  • Factory Settings: (Not for customer operations).
  • More Settings (System Settings):
    • System restart.
    • Restore factory settings (clears system files, operate carefully).
  • More Settings (Voice and input method):
    • Add required language.
    • Switch input method.
    • Advanced input help item (pointer speed).
  • More Settings (Date and time): Optional automatic network time and manual adjustment.
  • More Settings (Sound): Adjust main volume, installation media volume, Bluetooth volume, media volume when backing up, Bluetooth ringtone volume, and navigation volume. Reset to default if needed.
  • About the machine: Display Android basic information, storage, hardware, and system information.

CPlink (Wireless CarPlay)

CPlink supports wireless and wired CarPlay functionality for iOS devices.

Wireless Connection Steps:

  1. Connect the car's Bluetooth with an iPhone.
  2. Enter the CPlink application and wait for the connection.

Wired Connection Steps:

  1. Enter the CPlink application.
  2. Plug the iPhone USB cable into the 4-pin USB port and wait for the connection.

Android Auto

Android Auto supports wireless and wired connection for Android mobile phones.

GPS Navigation

The Android multimedia player supports playing music, movies, and photos via USB connection. It supports two USB connections simultaneously.

ADAS DVR (Optional)

Rear View Camera (Optional)

When a rear view camera is connected, the unit automatically switches to the reverse screen with parking lines when reversing the car, providing HD imaging for easier and safer parking.

OBD II Support (Optional)

Q: The rear view camera does not work or shows no information.

A: This issue is often related to incorrect camera type settings or wiring. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Factory Settings.
  2. Enter the password: 1234.
  3. Select the correct camera type.
  4. Reset the radio.

Q: Steering wheel controls are not responding.
