  1. Carefully screw the SMA-Female antenna onto the antenna connector at the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

  1. Rotate the Power Switch/Volume Knob clockwise to turn on the radio.
  2. The display will show the HIROYASU logo and then the main operating interface.
