This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Raex MP82 Electrical Curtain Motor. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure safe and efficient operation.

- Ensure the power supply is disconnected before any installation or maintenance.
- Installation should be performed by a qualified professional if you are unsure.
- Keep children and pets away from the curtain system during operation.
- Do not attempt to repair the motor yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.
- This product is designed for indoor use only.
3. Product Overview
3.1 Main Features
- Resistance and Stop Function: The motor automatically stops when encountering resistance.
- Light Touch - Start Function: Gently pull the curtain to initiate movement.
- Power Off - Manual Function: Curtains can be operated manually during a power outage.
- Multiple Control Options: Remote control (RF433), RS485, and dry contact.
- Quiet Operation: Double layer noise reduction, operating at less than 30dB.
- Adjustable Speed: 3-speed regulation (75r/min, 85r/min, 95r/min, adjustable up to 195r/min).


3.2 Product Dimensions and Variants
The motor dimensions are approximately 265mm (length) x 50.6mm (width) x 50.6mm (height). Refer to the diagram below for typical mounting configurations for single and double rails.

The product is available as 'only motor' or 'motor and 4ch remote'. Please note that if you choose the 'motor and 4ch remote' option, a 2-channel remote controller will be sent as the 4-channel remote is no longer produced.


4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Mounting the Motor
The MP82 motor is designed for ceiling mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the motor and curtain system. Refer to Figure 4 for typical mounting configurations for single and double rails.
4.2 Wiring Instructions
Connect the motor to the AC power supply and control systems as per the diagrams below. Always ensure power is off before making any connections.
- AC Power Input:
- N (blue): Neutral wire
- L (brown): Live wire
- Control Ports: The motor features a Signal port, LED light, Power port, and a Learning button.

5. Operation
5.1 Remote Control Basic Setting
The motor can be controlled using an RF433 remote. If you purchased the "motor and 4ch remote" option, you will receive a 2-channel remote controller.


5.1.1 Channel Setting (Pairing Remote)
- Press the motor's [Programming] button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
- Press the remote control [Channel Setting] button. The indicator light will flash red 3 times and then turn off. The code learning is successful.
5.1.2 Factory Reset
Long press the motor's [Programming] button for 7 seconds to clear all remote channels, restore manual start, and delete travel settings.
5.2 Direction Setting
5.2.1 Method 1 (Using Remote)
- Press the motor [Programming] button for 3 seconds until the LED light turns on (learning mode).
- Press the remote's [Channel Left] and [Stop] buttons simultaneously. The LED will flash twice quickly and then turn off.
5.2.2 Method 2 (Using Programming Button)
Short press twice + long press [Programming] button twice: short press (light flash) + short press (light flash) + long press for 3 seconds (LED light on) + long press for 3 seconds (LED light flashes two times and then light off). Direction change is complete.
5.3 Setting Limits
5.3.1 Automatic Limit
- After power connection, the first time you open or close the curtain, the motor will stop by locking at 0mm-10mm to the close position. (If the track's direction is wrong, the automatic limit tolerance will be bigger; after direction change, the tolerance resumes normal level.)
- At stop status, power off and then power on again. If no pulling curtain during power off, no change for motor limit status, the motor won't crash to the end of the track. If pulling the curtain too big a distance, after power connection, the motor may crash to the end of the track and then resume limit. If power off during the motor's moving process, the motor will resume limit after crashing to the end of the track for the first time running.
5.3.2 Clear Limit
Long press [Channel setting] + [Stop] on the remote control simultaneously for 6 seconds. All limits will be cleared, the motor will shake once, and the LED light will flash once.
5.3.3 Adjusting Down Limit
- Long press the remote control [Close] + [Channel setting] button for 4 seconds. The motor shakes once, and the motor LED indicator light is long on.
- Make the curtain reach the desired position by pressing the remote control [Up] or [Down] button within 30 seconds.
- Press the remote control [Channel setting] button or press the motor [Programming] button to set the current position as the down limit point. The motor shakes once, and the motor LED indicator light turns off.
5.3.4 Adjusting Up Limit
- Long press the remote control [Channel setting] + [Up] button for 4 seconds. The motor shakes once, and the motor LED indicator light is long on.
- Make the curtain reach the desired position by pressing the remote control [Up] or [Down] button within 30 seconds.
- Press the remote control [Channel setting] button or press the motor [Programming] button to set the current position as the open limit point. The motor shakes once, and the motor LED indicator light turns off.
5.4 Speed Adjustment
To adjust the motor's rolling speed:
- Press [channel setting] button for 3 seconds, then press [Open] button for 3 seconds to enter Speed adjustment mode. LED light turns on.
- Press [Stop] button for 3 seconds to adjust to 95r/min.
- Press [pause] button for 3 seconds to adjust to 85r/min.
- Press [close] button for 3 seconds to adjust to 75r/min.
- The motor LED light will flash 2 times to confirm.
5.5 Pull-to-Start Function
5.5.1 Enable Manual Pull Function
Long press the remote's [Stop] and [Up/Open] buttons for 3 seconds to enable manual pull. The motor will swing once to confirm.
5.5.2 Disable Manual Pull Function
Long press the remote's [Stop] and [Down/Close] buttons for 3 seconds to disable manual pull. The motor will swing once to confirm.
5.6 Setting Middle Stop Points
You can set specific intermediate positions for your curtains.
- Setting 25%, 50%, 75% Positions: Press the corresponding button (25%, 50%, or 75%) on the remote control to move the curtain to that percentage of the trip and stop.
- Setting Middle Stop Point 1: Use the [On], [off], [Stop] buttons to run the curtain to the desired position. Then, simultaneously press [75%] + [Channel Setting] on the remote. The motor vibrates once and the indicator lights flash once.
- Setting Middle Stop Point 2: Use the [On], [off], [Stop] buttons to run the curtain to the desired position. Then, simultaneously press [25%] + [Channel Setting] on the remote. The motor vibrates once and the indicator lights flash once.

5.7 Smart Connection (Tuya)
The motor supports smart connection via Tuya for enhanced control.
5.7.1 Entering Pairing Mode
Press the motor [Programming] button four consecutive times, release it, and then hold it for 3 seconds until the blue light of the indicator flashes. The motor is now in pairing mode.
5.7.2 Connecting via Tuya App
In the Tuya app, click "+" in the upper right corner, select "nearby devices" to find the motor. Wait for the connection to be successful. Once connected, the motor enters the distribution network, and you can customize its name and control it via the app.
5.7.3 Delete Pairing
- Method 1: Delete the device directly within the Tuya app.
- Method 2: Perform a factory reset (see Section 5.1.2).
- Method 3: Re-enter the distribution mode to disconnect the network.
6. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the motor and curtain track for any obstructions or wear.
- Keep the motor clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure all connections remain secure.
7. Troubleshooting

10.1 Warranty Information
The Raex MP82 Electrical Curtain Motor comes with a 1-year manufacturer's limited warranty for defective items from the date of receipt. Accessories are covered by a 3-month warranty. This warranty does not cover items damaged due to misuse or unauthorized repairs.
Defective items must be reported and returned within the warranty period, in their original packaging if possible. Please provide your order number and a description of the defect.
