Pairing with ZigBee Gateway and App
Once physically installed and powered, press the control button on the device to initiate pairing mode. Follow the instructions in your MOES or Smart Life app to add the device to your ZigBee gateway. The app will guide you through the discovery process.
Operation
Manual Control
You can manually open or close the valve by pressing the "PUSH" button on the controller. This will override any smart commands temporarily.
APP Remote Control
Use the MOES or Smart Life app on your smartphone to remotely control the valve. You can switch the valve ON/OFF, check its current state (opened/stopped), and monitor battery percentage.

Voice Control
Integrate the valve controller with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for convenient voice commands. Examples:
- "Alexa, Turn on the water valve."
- "Google, Close the water valve."

Intelligent Linkage
The controller can be linked with other smart sensors (e.g., water leakage detectors, carbon monoxide alarms) via the ZigBee gateway. When a linked sensor detects an event (e.g., water leak, gas leak), the valve controller can automatically execute a shutdown command to enhance home safety.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The controller features low power consumption, offering up to 365 days of battery life. When the battery level is low, the device buzzer will beep, and the indicator light will flash. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow water to enter the device.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device not responding / Indicator light flashing and buzzer beeping | Low battery level. | Replace all 4 AA batteries. |
| Cannot connect to app / Device offline | No ZigBee gateway present or gateway is offline. Device is out of range of the gateway. | Ensure a ZigBee gateway is installed and online. Move the valve controller closer to the gateway or consider adding a ZigBee repeater. Re-initiate pairing process if necessary. |
| Valve not opening/closing fully | Improper installation or obstruction. | Check physical installation to ensure the controller is correctly aligned with the valve handle and there are no obstructions. Recalibrate if the app allows. |
