1. Introduction

The Autophix JSC2100 is a supercapacitor car jump starter designed for safe, portable, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly vehicle starting. Unlike traditional battery-based jump starters, it utilizes advanced supercapacitor technology, which offers high current fast charging and discharging, high power density, and an ultra-wide operating temperature range of -25℃ to 70℃. This batteryless design ensures a long service life and is maintenance-free.

The supercapacitor absorbs a small amount of power remaining in the car battery and quickly amplifies it, thereby generating the power needed to start the engine within a few minutes. You can release all the accumulated electricity at once to start the car quickly. Since it is not a lithium-ion battery, it does not require pre-charging as regularly and can be easily used.

4. Safety Warnings

Please read and understand all safety information before using this product.

  • Do not let the battery clamps touch each other or other metals to avoid sparking.
  • Do not disassemble the product and accessories. Incorrect assembly may cause sparks or electric shock.
  • Do not use the device if it is already broken or damaged.
  • Do not place the device near combustible materials such as carpets, cardboard, or paper.
  • Do not expose the device to rain or snow.
  • Do not place the device on the car battery when starting the car.
  • Please turn off all electrical appliances in the car before using the device, such as headlights and air conditioner, and make sure the car is fully stopped and the emergency brake is engaged.
  • Make sure the key is turned off before using the device (ensure the car is completely off when using a Smart Car Key Button).
  • Please keep the device away from heat sources and avoid direct sunlight.
  • Do not clean the device with corrosive liquids.

5. Product Overview (Components)

6. Setup and Charging Methods

The Autophix JSC2100 does not require pre-charging like traditional battery jump starters. It charges rapidly from various sources by drawing a small amount of power, even from a nearly dead car battery, to power its supercapacitors.

6.1. Charging Methods

The device can be charged using one of the following methods:

  • From a 12V Car Battery: Connect the alligator clips to your car battery. Charging takes less than 5 minutes.
  • From a 12V Cigarette Lighter: Use the provided 12V 5A cigarette lighter cable. Charging takes less than 5 minutes.
  • From a 6V Source: Charging takes less than 20 minutes.
  • From a 5V 1A Type-C USB Source: Charging takes less than 30 minutes.

7. Operating Instructions (Jump Starting Your Vehicle)

Follow these steps to safely jump start your vehicle:

  1. Connect Cable: Fully insert the plug of the battery cable into the EC8 port on the jump starter.
  2. Attach Clamps: Fully clamp the positive (+) pole of the car battery with the red alligator clip and the negative (-) pole of the car battery with the black clip.
  3. Prepare Vehicle & Initiate Start:
    • Turn off all electrical appliances in the car (e.g., headlights, air conditioner).
    • Ensure the car is fully stopped and the emergency brake is engaged.
    • Ensure the ignition key is off (or the car is completely off if using a smart key button).
    • Press the 'Start' button on the jump starter.
    • If prompted, press the 'Next' button.
    • Wait a few seconds until the screen prompts "please start the ignition".
    • Turn the ignition to the START position.
  4. Disconnect: Disconnect the alligator clip cable and remove the alligator clips within 30 seconds after the vehicle has successfully started.

8. Maintenance

  • The supercapacitor design is maintenance-free for long-term use, eliminating the need for regular charging or battery replacement.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use corrosive liquids or abrasive cleaners.
  • Store the device in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures, heat sources, and direct sunlight.

9. Troubleshooting

9.1. Vehicle Fails to Start

If your vehicle does not start after following the operating instructions:

  • Ensure the jump starter is adequately charged from a power source (car battery, cigarette lighter, USB). The LCD display should indicate sufficient charge.
  • Verify that all electrical appliances in the car are turned off to minimize load on the battery.
  • Check that the alligator clamps are securely connected to the correct battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative). Loose connections can prevent proper operation.
  • Ensure the ignition is off before attempting to jump start.
  • Repeat the operating instructions carefully.

11. User Tips

  • Always ensure a clean connection between the alligator clamps and the battery terminals for optimal performance. Corroded terminals can hinder the jump-starting process.
  • Even if your car battery appears completely dead, the JSC2100 can often draw enough residual power to charge its supercapacitors and then successfully jump start your vehicle.
