4.1 Thermal Imaging Interface Buttons

  • Press and hold for 3 seconds: Turn on the key.
  • Short press: Switch the function of the multimeter.
  • Long press: Set menu.
  • Short press: Multifunctional.
  • Long press: Dual light fusion ratio switching.
  • Short press: Switch multimeter gear.
  • Long press: Switch color palette.

4.2 Multimeter Interface Buttons

  • Press and hold for 3 seconds: Turn on the key.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Charging

The ET11S Pro comes with a built-in detachable 18650 lithium battery. Ensure the battery is properly installed before first use. Charge the device using the provided USB Type-C cable.

  • Locate the battery compartment on the device.
  • Insert the 18650 lithium battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Close the battery compartment securely.
  • Connect the USB Type-C cable to the device and a suitable USB power source for charging.
  • A full charge provides approximately 8 hours of continuous operation.

5.2 Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button (usually the top-left button on the device) for 3 seconds to turn on the device. The device will boot into its default mode.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Multimeter Function

The multimeter offers a wide range of measurement functions, including AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacitance, diode, buzzer, and duty cycle. It features a 19999 count True RMS display.

  • Connecting Probes: Insert the universal probes into the appropriate input ports (COM and VΩ-Hz or AC/DC Current).
  • Selecting Measurement Mode: Use the 'Short press: Switch multimeter gear' button to cycle through different measurement functions (e.g., V, A, Ω, F, Hz).
  • Automatic Range: The multimeter defaults to automatic range measurement. For manual range, short press the 'Manual range' button.
  • Data Hold: Short press the 'Data retention' button to hold the current reading on the display.
  • LIVE Mode (Frontline Live Identification): In multimeter mode, switch to LIVE mode to distinguish between neutral and live wires. This function provides sensitive sensing with an interface prompt accompanied by a buzzing sound to help identify live wires and avoid electric shock.

6.2 Thermal Imaging Function

The thermal imaging camera features a 32x32 infrared resolution and a 240x240 visible light resolution, with a temperature range of -20°C to +550°C.

  • Switching to Thermal Imaging: In multimeter mode, short press the 'Thermal imaging function switch' button to activate the thermal camera.
  • Temperature Tracking: The device automatically tracks the highest temperature point, lowest temperature point, and a center point.
  • Over-temperature Alarm: An alarm will activate if the measured temperature exceeds a set threshold.
  • Color Palettes: Long press the 'Switch color palette' button to choose from 5 color palette modes: Iron Red, Rainbow, Fusion, White Heat, and Red Heat.
  • Dual Light Fusion: The device supports dual light fusion, combining visible light and infrared images for enhanced detail. Long press the 'Dual light fusion ratio switching' button to adjust the fusion ratio.

6.3 Data Transfer and Analysis

The ET11S Pro supports PC software for USB transfer and analysis of thermal images and measurement data.

  • Connect the device to a computer using the provided USB Type-C cable.
  • The device will enter USB mode, allowing for quick viewing of stored images and data reproduction.
  • Refer to the PC software manual (if provided separately) for detailed instructions on data analysis.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the device in its provided storage bag in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% and recharge every few months to maintain battery health.
  • Calibration: Regular calibration by qualified personnel is recommended to ensure accuracy, especially for professional use.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged and correctly installed. Try charging the device for at least 30 minutes.
