4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Preparation

4.3 Installation of New Case

  1. Place the new waterproof ring into the groove of the new metal watch case. Ensure it is seated correctly and evenly.
  2. Carefully insert the original watch movement into the new metal case. The precision molding ensures a snug and lossless fit.
  3. Align the back plate of the new case with the screw holes.
  4. Using the provided screws and screwdriver, securely fasten the back plate. Do not overtighten.
  5. Ensure all buttons (Light, Mode, Start/Stop) function correctly and have proper tactile feedback.

5. Operating Instructions

This mod kit replaces the external case and glass of your Casio A168 series watch. The functionality and operation of the watch's internal movement (time setting, alarm, stopwatch, light, etc.) remain unchanged and should be operated according to the original Casio A168 user manual.

6. Maintenance
