  • Software Updates: Periodically check for firmware updates from the manufacturer. Updates can typically be applied via the USB port and may improve performance or add new features.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No power/No display Incorrect power adapter; loose power connection; faulty board. Ensure a 12V 4A DC power adapter is used and properly connected. Check all cable connections.
No image on LCD panel Incorrect LVDS cable connection; incompatible LCD panel; incorrect resolution setting. Verify LVDS cable is correctly seated and oriented. Ensure your LCD panel is compatible and its resolution is supported. Adjust resolution in OSD if accessible.
Remote control not working Dead batteries; IR receiver blocked or disconnected; remote out of range. Replace AAA batteries. Ensure IR receiver is connected and has a clear line of sight. Operate remote within effective range.
No sound from USB media AC3 720P audio format; corrupted file. The board does not support AC3 720P. Recode the audio track to a supported format. Try another media file.
Cannot find TV channels Antenna not connected; weak signal; incorrect region settings. Ensure antenna is securely connected. Check antenna signal strength. Perform an auto-scan for channels. Verify region settings in the OSD menu.

User Tips

  • When connecting the board to an LCD panel, always double-check the LVDS cable connection. Incorrect connection can potentially damage the board or panel.
  • For optimal performance and stability, ensure the power supply provides a stable 12V 4A. Using an underpowered supply may lead to erratic behavior.
  • If you experience issues with multimedia playback, especially video files, try converting them to common formats like MP4 with AAC audio, as some specific audio codecs (like AC3 720P) are not supported.
  • Explore the OSD menu thoroughly after initial setup to customize language, picture settings, and sound preferences to your liking.
