It offers both WiFi and RF control options, allowing for smart home integration via Tuya/Smart Life apps and traditional remote control functionality.
This module supports a wide range of frequencies (300MHz to 868MHz) and is compatible with most fixed code, learning code, and rolling code remote controls, making it a universal solution for upgrading or replacing existing systems.

4. Setup
4.1. Power Input Selection (PIS)
The receiver can operate with AC/DC 9V-30V or AC 85-250V. It is crucial to set the Power Input Selector (PIS) correctly based on your power source:
- If the input voltage is greater than 24V, shorten pins 2 & 3.
- If the input voltage is less than 24V, shorten pins 1 & 2.
4.2. Wiring Diagram
Connect the receiver to your existing gate automation system, motor, or controller as shown in the diagram below. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes.

4.3. App Setup (for WiFi+RF version)
For the WiFi+RF version, download the Tuya or Smart Life app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add the device and connect it to your 2.4G WiFi network. This will enable smart control features.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Control Options
The RX MULTI receiver offers two primary control methods:
- Mobile App Control: For WiFi+RF versions, use the Tuya or Smart Life app on your smartphone.
- RF Control: Use compatible remote controls paired with the receiver.

5.2. Mobile App Features (WiFi+RF version)
- Remote Monitoring: Open or close the door via the app and check its real-time status (open or closed).
- Multi-User Access: Authorize multiple individuals to access and control your garage or gate.
- Scheduling: Set schedules to automatically open and close your garage door at specific times.
- Countdown Function: Configure a countdown timer to close or open the garage door after a set period.

5.3. Voice Control (WiFi+RF version)
If integrated with Tuya/Smart Life, you can activate your garage door opener using voice commands through compatible devices like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
6. Programming Remote Controls
The RX MULTI receiver can learn up to 400 remote controls. Follow these steps to program a new remote:
- Select Brand/Frequency: Identify the brand and frequency of the remote control you wish to program. Use the 8 dip switches on the receiver to set the correct combination for that remote brand. Refer to the dip switch configuration diagrams below.
- Enter Learning Mode: Press the learn button on the receiver. The LED indicator will turn on.
- Pair Remote: Press the desired button on your remote control. The LED on the receiver will flash 4 times, indicating successful programming.
- Repeat for Additional Buttons: If your remote has multiple buttons you wish to program, repeat step 2 and 3 for each button.
- Second Channel: The programming procedure for the second channel is identical.

6.1. Erasing All Programmed Data
To erase all programmed remote controls from the receiver's memory:
- Press and hold either learn button on the receiver.
- The LED will begin to flash. Continue holding the button until the LED turns off.
- All saved data in the memory will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the receiver clean and free from dust and moisture.
- Ensure the antenna is not obstructed for optimal RF signal reception.
- If using a separate remote control, ensure its battery is functional. The remote shown in Figure 13 uses two CR2016 batteries (not included with the receiver).

8. Troubleshooting
- Receiver not responding: Check power connections and ensure the correct operating voltage is supplied. Verify the PIS (Power Input Selector) setting.
- Remote control not working: Ensure the remote's battery is not depleted. Re-attempt the programming steps, paying close attention to the dip switch settings for your remote's brand and frequency.
- WiFi connectivity issues: Ensure the receiver is within range of your 2.4G WiFi network. Check your router settings and ensure the network is active. Re-attempt app setup.
- Limited range: Ensure the antenna is properly connected and not obstructed. Environmental factors can affect RF range.
- Interference: The receiver is designed not to interfere with other remotes and receivers. If you experience interference, check for other devices operating on similar frequencies nearby.

- Consult the Manual: If you are unsure about any aspect of installation or programming, refer to this manual or contact customer support for assistance. A usage video in your local language may also be available.
- Verify Compatibility: Before purchasing, ensure your existing remote control's frequency and code type are supported by the RX MULTI receiver.
