4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Pre-Installation Check

  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected before starting installation.
  • Verify all package contents are present and undamaged.
  • Familiarize yourself with your vehicle's dashboard and existing wiring.

4.2. Wiring Diagram

Refer to the following diagrams for proper wiring connections. Incorrect wiring can damage the unit or vehicle electronics.

4.3. Installation Steps

  1. Carefully remove the original car radio or dashboard panel using the provided disassembly tools.
  2. Connect the main power cable harness to the MN-H2 unit and then to the vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure the Canbus box is correctly integrated if your vehicle requires it.
  3. Connect the GPS antenna, routing the cable to a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., dashboard, A-pillar).
  4. Connect the reversing camera cable to the designated input on the MN-H2 unit and route the camera cable to the rear of the vehicle.
  5. Connect any additional accessories such as USB cables, external microphone, or RCA cables for AV output.
  6. Carefully slide the MN-H2 unit into the dashboard opening.
  7. Secure the unit in place and reassemble the dashboard panel.
  8. Reconnect the vehicle battery.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Initial Power On and UI Setup

  1. Turn on your vehicle's ignition. The MN-H2 unit should power on automatically.
  2. The unit offers over 50 user interface (UI) themes. To change the UI:
    • Step 1: Long press on a blank area of the UI page.
    • Step 2: Swipe left to browse through more UI options.
    • Step 3: Click on your desired UI to apply it.

5.2. CarPlay and Android Auto

The MN-H2 features built-in Wireless CarPlay (for iOS) and Android Auto (for Android systems). No additional accessories are needed.

Connection Steps:

  1. Connect your smartphone to the MN-H2 via Bluetooth.
  2. On the head unit, click on the "Car Lin-K" application.
  3. Wait for the connection to establish. CarPlay/Android Auto can also be connected via a USB cable.
