1. Product Overview

The AMNVOLT V4/V3S ATS MINI SI4732 Radio is a portable, all-band DSP radio receiver designed for versatile listening experiences. It features an advanced ESP32-S3 main controller and SI4732 DSP chip, supporting FM, AM, LSB, and USB modes. The radio is equipped with a 1.9-inch IPS color screen, a built-in 1W cavity speaker, and an upgraded earphone amplifier circuit.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all items are present and undamaged upon unpacking:

Note: Headphones are not included and must be provided by the user. The headphones shown in some images are for demonstrating FM antenna functionality only.

3. Setup and Installation

1. Unpacking Inspection

   After opening the package, carefully inspect the radio and all accessories to ensure they are complete and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

2. Antenna Connection

   The radio supports two types of antennas: a telescopic antenna and a Donut WB Antenna. Choose the appropriate antenna based on your reception needs.

   • Telescopic Antenna: Screw the telescopic antenna into the SMA-KE (internal) antenna jack on the radio. Extend it fully for optimal reception.
   • Donut WB Antenna: Connect the Donut WB Antenna to the SMA-KE antenna jack. This antenna supports 360-degree rotation for better reception.

3. Powering On and Charging

   The radio has a built-in 800mAh battery. To charge, connect a TYPE-C cable to the charging port. Note that the device cannot be charged with fast chargers. Ensure the power outlet is intact and undamaged before connecting.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Normal Operation

   Power on the device and operate it according to the on-screen instructions. The 1.9-inch IPS color screen provides an intuitive interface.

2. Operating Modes and Frequency Range

   The radio supports FM, AM, LSB, and USB operating modes. It covers the following receiving bands and frequency ranges:

   • Receiving Bands: HF/SW/MW/VHF
   • Frequency Range: LW, MW, SW (150kHz - 30MHz), VHF (64-108MHz)

   Note: This radio does not support aviation bands.

3. Display and Sound Settings

   The 1.9-inch IPS color screen offers adjustable backlight levels (32~255 levels) and real-time battery status display. You can adjust the volume and other sound parameters through the menu. The radio features a built-in 1W cavity speaker and an upgraded earphone amplifier circuit for clear audio.

   Menu Options:

   • Basic Setup: Brightness, Sleep Timer, Battery Display, Theme Color.
   • Sound Tune: Volume, Soft-mute, AGC ATTN, Bandwidth.
   • Advanced Set: Memory Save/Recall, Calibration, UTC Offset.

5. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning

  Wipe off surface dust or stains promptly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

• Storage

  When not in use, store the product in a dry, well-ventilated location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting and Precautions

• General Precautions

  • Avoid Moisture: Do not use the product outdoors during rain or in high-humidity environments. Avoid contact with liquids to prevent electric shock. Unplug the power supply when not in use or during cleaning.
  • Do Not Disassemble: Unauthorized disassembly or repair by non-professionals is strictly prohibited. Improper operation may cause electric shock, fire, or product failure. Contact professional maintenance personnel if needed.
  • Power Safety: Before use, ensure the power outlet is intact and undamaged.
  • Prevent Dropping: Avoid dropping the product from elevated positions to prevent damage.
  • Keep Children Away: Ensure children remain clear of the operational area during use. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts which may cause a choking hazard. Use under adult supervision.

• CNC Metal Casing Specifics

  If you have selected the CNC metal casing version, please be aware that the CNC aluminum alloy material provides some shielding against wireless electromagnetic signals. While this enhances interference resistance, it may also weaken Wi-Fi signal strength. Please acknowledge this before purchasing.

8. User Tips

• Headphone Use as FM Antenna (V4 Upgrade)

  The V4 version includes a feature to use wired headphones as an FM antenna. For optimal performance, this requires a strong FM signal environment and a relatively long headphone cable.

• Firmware Upgrades

  The Si4732 DSP radio allows hassle-free upgrades to the latest firmware for optimal use and enhanced functionality. Refer to the official product page or support resources for firmware update instructions.

• Signal Reception

  The radio adopts a Hi-Z circuit to improve weak signal resolution, enhancing listening clarity in challenging environments. Experiment with antenna positioning and type (telescopic vs. Donut WB) for best results.
