3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Controller

Before first use, fully charge your controller. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the controller's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power source (DC 4.5-5.5V). The controller features a 600mAh battery and takes approximately 2-3 hours to fully charge. NTC overheat protection ensures safe charging.

3.2 Connecting to Devices

The controller supports both Bluetooth (wireless) and wired connections across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, mobile phones (Android/iOS), tablets, and Steam Deck.

3.2.1 Wireless Connection (Bluetooth)

  1. Ensure the controller is sufficiently charged.
  2. Turn on the controller and activate Bluetooth pairing mode (refer to specific device instructions if needed).
  3. On your device (Switch, PC, phone), search for Bluetooth devices and select the IINE controller to pair.

3.2.2 Wired Connection

For a near-zero input lag experience, connect the controller directly to your PC or other compatible devices using the USB-C charging cable. This provides a 1000Hz polling rate.

3.2.3 One-Click Wake-Up Function (Nintendo Switch/Switch 2/Lite)

To remotely wake up your Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, or Switch Lite console, simply press and hold the Home button on the controller for approximately 3 seconds. The controller will attempt to wake up and reconnect to the console.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain your controller's condition, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the controller in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Do not expose the controller to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) as this can degrade battery life.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Connection Issues

  • Controller not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the controller is in pairing mode. Try restarting both the controller and your device.
  • Intermittent connection: Move closer to your device to reduce interference. Ensure no other strong wireless signals are nearby. Consider using a wired connection for stability.
  • Switch wake-up not working: Ensure the controller is paired with the Switch. Press and hold the Home button for at least 3 seconds.

6.2 Input Lag

For the lowest possible latency, especially in competitive gaming, use the wired connection mode. This provides a 1000Hz polling rate, significantly reducing input lag compared to wireless.

6.3 Battery and Charging

  • Controller not charging: Check if the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the controller and the power source. Try a different cable or power adapter.
  • Short battery life: Ensure the controller is fully charged before use. Battery life can vary based on usage (e.g., rumble intensity, continuous motion sensing).
