2. Setup and Assembly
2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Battery Installation and Charging
- Align the battery with the back of the radio and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
- To charge, connect the Type-C cable directly to the radio's Type-C port, or place the radio in the provided charging station.
- The indicator light will show charging status.

2.3 Attaching the Antenna and Belt Clip
- Screw the antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector on top of the radio until it is finger-tight.
- Attach the belt clip to the designated slot on the back of the radio for convenient carrying.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment
Rotate the Volume/Power Knob clockwise to turn on the radio. Continue rotating to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn off the radio.

The UV-K1(8) supports a wide range of frequencies:

- FCC TX Frequency Band: 144-148MHz / 420-450MHz

3.4 One-Key Frequency Detection (Wireless Copy)
This feature allows you to quickly detect and copy the frequency and CTCSS/DCS tones from another radio. Press the F Key + 4 to activate the One-Click Frequency Detection (Frequency Meter) function. The radio will scan and display the detected frequency and tones.

3.5 NOAA Weather Alert
