5. Setup Instructions

5.1 Mounting the Dash Cam

  1. Clean the desired mounting area on your dashboard or windshield.
  2. Attach the adhesive mount to the dash cam.
  3. Securely press the dash cam with the adhesive mount onto the cleaned surface, ensuring it does not obstruct your driving view.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Insert the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
  2. Connect the other end of the car charger cable to the dash cam's power input port.
  3. The device will power on automatically when the vehicle starts.

5.3 TF Card Installation

  1. Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
  2. Locate the TF card slot on the device.
  3. Insert a Class 10 or higher TF card (up to 256GB) into the slot until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, gently push the card until it pops out.

5.4 Rear Camera Connection (Optional)

  1. Connect the rear camera cable to the designated input port on the main dash cam unit.
  2. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the rear of the car.

5.5 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Setup

  1. On the dash cam, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto application.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation and UI Navigation

The device features a 6.86-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280x480 resolution and 2.5D curved glass for sensitive touch. Navigate through menus and applications by tapping and swiping on the screen. You can switch between three different UI themes to customize the interface style.

6.2 Recording Functions

6.3 ADAS Warning Systems

The Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) provide real-time safety warnings:
