4. Setup Guide
Initial Setup
- Unpack all components and ensure they are intact.
- Place the AFERIY AF-P280 main unit on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation.
- For initial use, it is recommended to fully charge the power station.
Expanding Capacity with Extra Batteries
The AFERIY AF-P280's capacity can be expanded by connecting up to four additional battery units, reaching a total capacity of 10240Wh. This modular design allows you to customize your power storage needs.
- Align the expansion battery unit(s) directly below the main power station unit or other battery units.
- Connect the provided power cables between the main unit and the first expansion battery, and then between subsequent expansion batteries. Ensure connections are secure.
- The system will automatically recognize the added capacity.
5. Operation
Powering On/Off
Press and hold the main power button on the front panel to turn the unit on or off. The digital display will illuminate upon power-on.
Charging the Power Station
The AF-P280 supports multiple charging methods:
- AC Charging: Connect the AC charging cable to the AC input port and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The display will show charging status.
- Solar Charging: Connect compatible solar panels (max 1200W) to the solar input port using the MC4 to XT60 cable. Ensure panels are in direct sunlight for optimal charging.
- Car Charging: Use a compatible car charger (not included) to charge the power station from your vehicle's 12V outlet.
- Dual Charging (AC + Solar): For fastest charging, combine AC and solar input simultaneously. This significantly boosts charging speed.
Using Output Ports
The AF-P280 offers 15 output ports for various devices:
- AC Output: Press the AC button to activate the AC outlets. Plug in your AC-powered appliances. The display shows AC output voltage and frequency.
- USB-A Output: Plug your USB-A devices into the 5V 2.4A ports.
- Type-C Output: Use the Type-C ports for compatible devices, including the 140W PD3.1 port for fast charging laptops and other high-power devices.
- Cigarette Lighter Output: Connect 12V devices to the cigarette lighter port.
- XT60 Output: For specific 12V/25A devices requiring an XT60 connector.
- DC Output: Use the 12V/3A DC ports for compatible DC devices.
UPS Function
The AFERIY AF-P280 supports Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) functionality. When connected to an AC wall outlet and powering devices, it can seamlessly switch to battery power in case of a power outage, providing continuous power to connected devices without interruption.
AC Output Voltage and Frequency Switching
AC output voltage and frequency standards vary by region. Please check your device's requirements before use.
- Switching AC Output Voltage (100V/110V): Quickly and continuously press the AC button 10 times to toggle the AC output voltage between 100V and 110V.
- Switching Frequency (50Hz/60Hz):
- Press and hold the AC button for 2 seconds to enter standby frequency change mode. The 50Hz or 60Hz icon will blink on the display.
- Press the AC button again to select either 50Hz or 60Hz.
- The icon will stop blinking and display the selected frequency, indicating the switch is complete.
6. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the power station. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
