Care and Maintenance
Battery Maintenance
- Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. Charge the battery when it is low.
- The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after a few complete charge and discharge cycles.
- Unplug the charger from the electrical outlet and the device when not in use.
- Avoid leaving a fully charged battery connected to a charger for extended periods, as overcharging may shorten its lifespan.
Device Care
To protect your device and ensure its longevity:
- Keep the device and accessories out of reach of small children.
- Keep the device dry. All types of liquids or moisture can corrode electronic circuits.
- Do not store the device in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices and warp or melt certain plastics.
- Do not attempt to open the device other than as instructed in this guide. Non-professional handling may damage the device.
Safety Guidelines
- Aircraft Safety: Switch off your device before boarding an aircraft. The use of wireless teledevices in an aircraft may be dangerous to aircraft operation, disrupt wireless networks, and may be illegal.
- Environment Safety: Follow special regulations in force in any area. Always switch off your device when its use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. Switch off the device in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres, such as gas stations or chemical factories. Observe restrictions on the use of radio equipment.
Troubleshooting
- Phone not turning on after charging: If the mobile phone has not been used for a long time, the battery may be deeply discharged. Charge the mobile phone for 3-5 hours initially using the provided charging cable and a 5V1A charger.
- SIM card not recognized: Ensure your SIM card is correctly inserted into the tray. Verify with your local network provider if your SIM card supports 2G GSM networks, as this phone only operates on 2G GSM.
- Network issues / No signal: This phone only supports 2G GSM network signals (GSM850/900/1800/1900). It does not support 3G, 4G, or 5G signals. If you experience no signal or emergency dialing, your SIM card or region may not support 2G GSM. Some countries (e.g., South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Israel, Colombia, India, Türkiye, Chile, Azerbaijan, Tanzania) have discontinued 2G networks, rendering the phone unusable in those areas.
- Cannot download applications: This is a feature phone with a non-smartphone operating system and cannot download or install applications. It can access basic web services like WhatsApp and Facebook via their web versions, but support may vary by region.
