5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the spot welder using the provided Type-C charging cable and a 5V/2.1A (MAX) power adapter. The digital display will indicate the battery level.
5.2 Power On/Off
Press and hold the ON/OFF/Option Toggle Key (top button) for 2 seconds to power the device on or off.
5.3 Adjusting Welding Pins
The Awgem spot welder features scientifically replaceable soldering pins with adjustable spacing (0.5-3mm) to adapt to diverse welding needs.
- Loosen the fixing screws on both sides of the welding pins.
- Remove the soldering pin by pulling it in the direction of the pin.
- Insert new soldering pins and adjust the desired spacing.
- Tighten the fixing screws on both sides to secure the pins.
Note: To disassemble and replace the needle, please use a 3mm outer diameter cross screwdriver with a welding needle screw for embedded fixation. Do not forcibly remove screws if they are not loosening, as this may cause damage to the shell.

6. Operation
The spot welder features a 1.3-inch intelligent digital display for precise control and monitoring of welding parameters.

6.1 Adjusting Welding Parameters (Gear Adjustment)
The device offers adjustable output power (gears) to suit different welding materials and thicknesses.
- SH2 Model: 90 adjustable gears.
- SH1 Model: 11 adjustable gears.
To adjust parameters:
- Short press the Adjustment Key (top button) to cycle through and adjust parameters (e.g., gear level).
- Press and hold the Adjustment Key to toggle between integer and decimal values for gear adjustment.
6.2 Switching Welding Modes
The spot welder supports both automatic and manual welding modes.
To switch modes:
- Press and hold the Manual Welding Key (bottom button) for 2 seconds to switch between automatic (A) and manual (M) welding modes.
6.3 Welding Process
The device utilizes dual pulse technology for firm solder joints without virtual welding.
- Ensure the battery surface and nickel strip are clean and free of oxidation. Use the provided sanding paper if necessary.
- Place the nickel strip firmly on the battery terminal.
- Position the welding pins onto the nickel strip, ensuring both pins make good contact.
- In Automatic Mode, the welder will automatically detect contact and initiate the weld.
- In Manual Mode, press the Manual Welding Key to initiate the weld.
- After welding, carefully remove the welder. Inspect the weld for strength and quality. Adjust the gear setting if the weld is too weak or too strong.
