  • 5. Signal Strength Indicator: Displays the strength of the wireless signal. (No specific instruction for 'Always off' or 'No signal' provided for this indicator in the image text, but it is present on the device.)

6.2. Pairing

The units are designed to pair automatically upon power-up. If they do not connect, or if you need to re-pair them:

  1. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
  2. Press the Pairing Button (1) on both the transmitter and receiver.
  3. Observe the Pairing Indicator Light (3). It should fast flash during pairing and then become solid when connected.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Signal/Poor Signal:
    • Ensure both TX and RX units are powered on and their indicator lights show a connected status.
    • Check that the HDMI cables (if used with adapters) are securely connected to both the source and display devices.
    • Verify that the display device is set to the correct HDMI input.
    • Environmental Factors: Transmission distance can be affected by the environment. Walls, brick, or glass will shorten the signal range or cause significant signal loss. Try to minimize obstructions between the transmitter and receiver.
    • Try re-pairing the units as described in Section 6.2.
  • Image/Audio Issues (Stuttering, Flickering):
    • This may indicate a weak signal. Reduce the distance between the TX and RX units or remove obstructions.
    • Ensure both units are receiving stable 5V power.
  • Units Not Powering On:
    • Check the USB to USB-C power cables and ensure they are properly connected to a working 5V power source.
    • Try a different USB power adapter or USB port.

8. User Tips

  • For optimal performance and to maintain the 60-meter range, ensure a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver.
  • The LED digital display is a useful tool for quickly checking the connection status and signal strength, which can help in diagnosing issues.
  • When using the extender in different rooms or through walls, expect a reduction in the effective transmission range.
  • Always ensure both the transmitter and receiver are adequately powered to prevent performance issues.

9. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ZHIXIN Wireless HDMI Extender:

  • Keep the devices clean by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Store the units in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the devices to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the units, as this will void the warranty and could cause damage.

10. Warranty and Support

The ZHIXIN Wireless HDMI Extender comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use.
