5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Ergonomic Design and Grip
The AULA X9 series mice are designed for comfortable grip and precise positioning, suitable for various hand sizes and grip styles.

- Button guide slot: Enhances finger click comfort.
- Lower button cover height: For better click feel.
- Highest back point positioned rearward: Increases support for the palm root during grip.
- Tailored waist: For versatile grip positions.
- Large pad: For smoother movement.
- Rounded tail: For palm grip without pressing the thenar eminence.
5.2 DPI Adjustment
The mouse features adjustable DPI settings, allowing you to change cursor sensitivity on the fly. Use the dedicated DPI button (if available) or the AULA HUB software to cycle through preset DPI levels or customize your own.
5.3 Polling Rate
The AULA X9 PRO Ultra MAX supports up to an 8K (8000Hz) polling rate, providing instant response and smooth operation for an ultimate experience. This means the mouse reports its position to your computer 8000 times per second, significantly reducing input lag.

5.4 Gaming Mode
When Gaming Mode is enabled, the mouse unleashes its full hardware performance, especially with the PAW3950 Ultra sensor, for a smoother and more responsive control experience. This mode is ideal for high-intensity competitive gaming.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean your mouse. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
6.2 Battery Care
The mouse is equipped with a high-capacity rechargeable battery (300mAh for X9 Standard, 500mAh for PRO/ULTRA editions). To prolong battery life:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Store the mouse in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Charge the mouse using the provided cable or a certified USB-C cable.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Connectivity Issues
- Wireless (2.4G/Bluetooth) not connecting: Ensure the mouse is turned on and in the correct mode. Check if the nano receiver is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and the mouse is in pairing mode.
- Intermittent connection: Move the mouse closer to the receiver/device. Avoid obstructions between the mouse and receiver. Check for interference from other wireless devices.
7.2 Performance Issues
- Lag or stuttering: Ensure the mouse is fully charged. If using 2.4G wireless, try a different USB port for the receiver. If using 8K polling rate, ensure your PC meets the recommended configuration (see User Tips).
- Inaccurate tracking: Clean the mouse sensor. Ensure you are using a suitable mouse pad.
7.3 Software Issues
- AULA HUB not detecting mouse: Ensure the mouse is connected (preferably wired during initial setup) and the software is up to date. Restart your computer and the software.
8. User Tips
8.1 Optimal 8K Polling Rate Experience
To ensure an optimal experience with 8K polling rate, AULA recommends the following PC configuration to maximize mouse performance. If below requirements, lower polling rate for better experience.

| Component | Intel Platform | AMD Platform |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i7-9700K or higher | Ryzen 7300X or higher |
| Graphics Card | NVIDIA RTX 2060 or higher | AMD RX 5700 XT or higher |
| Memory | 16GB and above | |
| Monitor | Refresh rate above 240Hz | |
