5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Monitor
- Always power off and unplug the monitor before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner.
- Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
- Avoid using alcohol, ammonia, or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the screen surface.
5.2 Storage
- When not in use, store the monitor in its protective leather case to prevent scratches and damage.
- Keep the monitor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Screen signal is poor or flickers: Ensure you are using the adapter that came with the monitor, as other adapters may provide insufficient voltage. If flickering persists, try swapping the HDMI cable.
- "No Signal" or "Power Saving Mode" appears: Try switching the Type-C cable head to the other side and reconnecting the monitor.
- No display when connected via Type-C: Check if the Type-C port on your PC/Laptop supports the transmission of audio and video signals (Thunderbolt 3 or DisplayPort Alternate Mode). If not, you will need a "Type-C to HDMI" adapter for signal transmission.
- Monitor turns on in default power save mode: This is normal behavior. Note that there is no save function in sleep mode, so you need to close it manually if desired.
- No touchscreen function: This 15.6" portable monitor does not have a built-in battery or touchscreen function. It requires an external power source and does not respond to touch input.
