4. Installation Guide

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your VSYSTO F9 system. It is recommended to have this system installed by a qualified technician if you are unfamiliar with motorcycle electrical systems.

4.1 Mounting the Main Display Unit

  1. Choose a secure and visible location on your motorcycle's dashboard or handlebars that does not obstruct your view or controls.
  2. Use the provided mounting bracket and hardware to firmly attach the main display unit. Ensure it is angled for optimal viewing.

4.2 Installing Cameras

  1. Front Camera: Mount the front camera securely at the front of your motorcycle, ensuring a clear, unobstructed view of the road ahead.
  2. Rear Camera: Mount the rear camera at the back of your motorcycle, providing a clear view of the rear.
  3. Route the camera cables carefully, avoiding moving parts, heat sources, and pinch points. Ensure all connections are secure and waterproof.

4.3 Installing TPMS Sensors

  1. The system includes three external TPMS sensors. Install one sensor on each tire valve stem of your three-wheeler motorcycle.
  2. Ensure the sensors are tightened securely to prevent air leaks.
  3. The sensors will automatically pair with the main unit once powered on.

4.4 Connecting the GPS Module

  1. Connect the GPS module to the designated port on the main display unit.
  2. Mount the GPS module in a location with a clear view of the sky, away from metal obstructions, to ensure optimal signal reception.

4.5 Wiring the Power Kit

  1. The system is hard-wired to your motorcycle's battery. Connect the hardwire power kit according to your motorcycle's wiring diagram.
  2. Ensure proper polarity and secure connections to prevent electrical issues.
  3. The system will automatically power on/off with the ignition.

4.6 Installing the Wired Handlebar Controller

  1. Mount the waterproof handlebar remote controller in an easily accessible location on your handlebars.
  2. Connect the controller cable to the main display unit.

5. Operation Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • The system will automatically power on when your motorcycle's ignition is turned on.
  • It will automatically power off when the ignition is turned off.

5.2 Basic Recording

  • Upon power-on, the system automatically begins loop recording from both front and rear cameras.
  • Videos are saved in segments (1/2/3/5 minutes) and older files are overwritten when the MicroSD card is full.

5.3 Emergency Recording & Snapshot

  • G-Sensor: In case of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically trigger emergency recording, locking the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten.
  • Wired Controller: Press the "OK" button on the wired handlebar controller to manually trigger an emergency recording and lock the current video file.
  • Snapshot: Press the designated snapshot button on the wired controller to capture a still image.

5.4 Smart Gauge Mode

  • Press the "Down" button on the wired controller to enter Smart Gauge Mode.
  • This mode displays real-time data such as speed, altitude, atmospheric pressure, battery voltage, compass direction, and total mileage.

5.5 TPMS Operation

  • The TPMS sensors continuously monitor tire pressure and temperature.
  • Real-time data for all three tires is displayed on the main unit's screen, especially in Smart Gauge Mode.
  • The system will issue visual and audible alerts if tire pressure or temperature falls outside preset safe ranges.

5.6 Wi-Fi Connectivity and App Usage

  1. Download the "VSYSTO" app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Enable Wi-Fi on your smartphone and connect to the VSYSTO F9's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password usually displayed on the device or in the app).
  3. Once connected, use the app for:
    • Live preview of camera feeds.
    • Playback of recorded videos.
    • Downloading video files to your phone.
    • Adjusting system settings (e.g., loop recording duration, G-sensor sensitivity, time zone).
    • Viewing GPS tracking data.

5.7 Parking Monitor

  • When the motorcycle is parked and the ignition is off, the Parking Monitor function (if enabled and hardwired) will activate.
  • If the G-sensor detects vibration or impact, the dash cam will automatically record a short video segment.
  • This feature provides surveillance for your motorcycle when unattended.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the display unit and camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The main unit is IP65, and cameras/cables are IP67 waterproof, but avoid direct high-pressure water jets.
  • MicroSD Card: Regularly format the MicroSD card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Replace the card if you experience frequent errors or recording issues. Use only Class 10 or higher cards.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the VSYSTO app periodically for available firmware updates. Updates can improve performance and add new features. Follow the app's instructions for OTA (Over-The-Air) updates.
  • Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cables and connections for wear, damage, or loose fittings. Ensure waterproof seals are intact.

7. Troubleshooting

GPS signal weak or not acquired.Ensure GPS module is mounted with a clear view of the sky, away from metal obstructions. Move to an open area.
Wi-Fi connection issues.Ensure the VSYSTO app is installed and updated. Restart the dash cam and your phone. Re-enter Wi-Fi password if necessary.
Video files are corrupted or missing.Format the MicroSD card. Ensure a Class 10 or higher card is used. Check for loose power connections that might interrupt recording.

8. User Tips

  • Regular Formatting: To maintain optimal recording performance and prevent errors, format your MicroSD card at least once a month.
  • Cable Management: Secure all cables with zip ties or cable clips to prevent them from snagging, vibrating loose, or interfering with motorcycle operation.
  • TPMS Calibration: After installing new TPMS sensors or if readings seem off, ensure they are correctly calibrated or re-paired according to the device's settings.
  • App Exploration: Take time to explore all features within the VSYSTO smartphone app. It offers convenient access to settings, video playback, and GPS data.
  • Backup Important Footage: Regularly download important video clips to your smartphone or computer to prevent them from being overwritten by loop recording.
