4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
The POSEIDON Wireless Tattoo Pen features a Type-C charging port. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the device and a suitable power source. The display will show a charging symbol. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours, providing 4-6 hours of working duration.

4.2 Attaching the Needle Cartridge
Ensure the device is powered off before attaching or detaching needle cartridges. Carefully insert the needle cartridge into the pen until it clicks securely into place. The pen is designed with an aluminum alloy protective layer at the interface for a tight and wear-resistant connection.
5. Operating Instructions
The tattoo pen is controlled via the power button and the plus/minus ('+') and ('-') function buttons, and the 'M' key.
5.1 Power On/Off and Basic Operation
- **Power On/Off**: Press and hold the power button for 1.5 seconds to turn the machine on or off.
- **Start/Pause**: After powering on, press the power button to activate the motor and start the timer. Press it again to pause the machine. Press again to resume.
- **Battery Status Display**: Each time you activate the motor, the battery symbol will be displayed on the screen.
5.2 Adjusting Voltage and Speed
- **Voltage Adjustment**: Use the plus ('+') and minus ('-') buttons to adjust the voltage in 0.1V increments. Press and hold for continuous adjustment. The voltage range is between 4.0V and 12.0V. The default starting voltage is 8V.
5.3 Memory Modes and Special Functions


- **Memory Function**: The device will display the active mode and gear upon startup, restoring the previously set speed or gear.
- **Display Auto-Off/Sleep Mode**: The display automatically turns off after 10 seconds of inactivity. The device enters sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity.
- **Low Battery Reminder**: When the battery status reaches 79%, the battery status will blink as a reminder.
- **Forced Start Mode**: After starting the device, double-press the 'M' key to switch to forced start mode. The highest speed will be maintained for 0.5 seconds, then it will return to the set speed. The forced start symbol will be displayed.
- **Switching Needle Output (Prick Function)**: Press and hold the 'M' key to switch to the prick function (e.g., 40 NPS). Hold the 'M' key again to switch back to normal needle output (e.g., 131 HZ).
- **Clamping Mode**: Press the 'M' key to switch between clamping mode and normal mode. In clamping mode, use the plus/minus buttons to set the clamping frequency (e.g., 20NPS10HZ).
- **Function Keys Setup**: The function keys offer two options. The broadcast option can only be selected when the unit is on. Use the plus/minus buttons to set the needle length or frequency. The setting can be changed by rotating the function knob. Press the power button to exit the setting, or hold it down for 5 seconds for automatic setup.
5.4 Using the Tattoo Pen
Once the needle cartridge is attached and the desired settings are configured, the tattoo pen is ready for use. Ensure proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed during tattooing.
