  • '+' Key Button: Single click to turn ON/OFF. Long press to enter the next test window.
  • '-' Key Button: Single click to turn ON/OFF. Long press to enter the next test window.
  • 'M' Key Button: Short press to set the parameter value. Long press to enter the background.

5. Installation

The AT4PW Smart Electricity Meter is designed for universal 35mm DIN rail installation, making it convenient to integrate into existing electrical panels.

  1. Mounting: Securely clip the meter onto a standard 35mm DIN rail in your electrical distribution box.
  2. Wiring: Refer to the wiring diagram in Section 6 for correct connection of input and output lines.
  3. Power On: Once wiring is complete and verified, restore power to the circuit.

6. Wiring Diagram

Connection Points:

  • L-IN (火线输入): Live AC Input
  • L-OUT (火线输出): Live AC Output to Load
  • N-IN (零线输入): Neutral AC Input
  • N-OUT (零线输出): Neutral AC Output to Load

Ensure that the input (L-IN, N-IN) is connected to the main power supply and the output (L-OUT, N-OUT) is connected to the load you wish to monitor and control.

7. Operation

The AT4PW meter provides a clear display and simple button controls for local operation.

7.1. Display Interface

The 2.4-inch LCD HD color screen displays various electrical parameters:

  • Vol: Current Voltage (V)
  • Cur: Current (A)
  • Pwr: Active Power (W)
  • Ene: Energy Consumption (kWh)
  • Fre: Frequency (Hz)
  • Factor: Power Factor (PF)
  • Additional information like AQI, PM2.5, Humidity, and Air Temperature may also be displayed.

7.2. Button Functions

  • Short press '+' or '-': Switch between different function interfaces.
  • Long press '+' or '-': Turn the device ON or OFF.
  • Short press 'M': Set parameter values (e.g., protection thresholds).
  • Long press 'M': Enter the background settings menu.

When the device is first turned on, the WiFi indicator will flash, indicating it is ready for network configuration.

8. Mobile App Control

The AT4PW Smart Electricity Meter supports remote control and monitoring via a mobile application, compatible with platforms like Tuya and Smart Life. This allows you to manage your electricity usage from anywhere with an internet connection.

8.1. App Installation and Setup

  1. Download App: Search for 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' in your mobile app store (iOS/Android) and install it.
  2. Register/Login: Create an account or log in to your existing account.
  3. Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled. The app will guide you through connecting the meter to your home WiFi network.
