Setup Instructions

The Devoko Folding Gazebo features a quick-mount system designed for easy, one-person assembly within 10 minutes.

  1. Unpack Components: Remove the folding frame, canopy, side walls, ropes, and ground stakes from the storage bag.
  2. Expand Frame: Place the folded frame in the desired location. Gently pull the legs outwards to begin expanding the frame.
  3. Attach Canopy: Drape the canopy over the partially expanded frame. Ensure the canopy is correctly oriented with the peak centered.
  4. Fully Expand Frame: Continue to pull the legs outwards until the frame is fully expanded. Engage the one-step locking mechanism (red buckles) on each corner to secure the frame in place.
  5. Adjust Height: Press the red height adjustment buttons on each leg to select one of the three available height levels (175cm, 185cm, or 195cm). Ensure all legs are set to the same height.
  6. Attach Side Walls (Optional): If desired, attach the four removable side walls using the Velcro fasteners. The side walls include door curtains with zippers and transparent window grilles.
  7. Secure to Ground: Use the provided ground stakes to anchor each leg firmly into the ground. Attach the guy ropes to the frame and secure them to the ground with additional stakes for enhanced wind resistance.

Operating Instructions

Height Adjustment

To adjust the height of the gazebo, locate the red adjustment buttons on each leg. Press the button and slide the leg to the desired height. Ensure all four legs are adjusted to the same level for stability. There are three height levels available: 175cm, 185cm, and 195cm.

Side Wall Configuration

The four side walls are fully removable. You can attach them using the Velcro fasteners for a fully enclosed space, or remove them for an open-air setup. The side walls feature transparent window grilles for visibility and zippered door curtains for easy access.

Weather Protection

The gazebo's canopy is made from waterproof UV30 fabric, offering protection against moderate rain and harmful UV rays (UV50+). The centrally inclined design helps prevent water buildup. Always ensure the gazebo is properly anchored with stakes and ropes to withstand daily weather conditions.

Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Canopy: Clean the polyester canopy with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow the canopy to air dry completely before folding and storing to prevent mold and mildew.
  • Frame Care: The reinforced stainless steel frame is designed to be rust-free. Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Inspect the frame for any damage or loose connections periodically.
  • Storage: When not in use, disassemble the gazebo and store all components in the provided portable storage bag. Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prolong the product's lifespan.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect all parts, including the fabric, frame, ropes, and stakes, for wear and tear. Replace any damaged components immediately to ensure safety and functionality.

Troubleshooting

Gazebo is unstable or sways in wind:
Ensure all legs are fully extended and the red locking buckles are securely engaged. Verify that all ground stakes are firmly inserted and guy ropes are properly tensioned and anchored. For very windy conditions, consider adding additional weight bags to the legs (not included).
Water pooling on canopy:
The canopy has a centrally inclined design to prevent water buildup. Ensure the gazebo is set up on level ground and the canopy is taut. If water still pools, gently push up from underneath to release the water, then re-tension the canopy.
Difficulty expanding or folding the frame:
Ensure no fabric is caught in the frame joints. Apply gentle, even pressure when expanding or folding. If a joint is stiff, check for obstructions or debris. Do not force the frame.
Side walls do not fit properly:
Ensure the side walls are correctly oriented and attached to the frame using all available Velcro fasteners. The gazebo must be fully expanded and at the desired height before attaching side walls.

User Tips

  • For maximum stability, always utilize all provided ground stakes and guy ropes, even in calm weather.
  • When setting up on hard surfaces where stakes cannot be used, consider purchasing sandbags or weights to secure the gazebo legs.
  • To extend the life of your canopy, avoid leaving it exposed to harsh weather conditions for extended periods.
  • The transparent window grilles offer a good balance of light and privacy; consider their placement when setting up.
