4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
Press the 'Power' button to turn on the device. The device will automatically shut down after 3 minutes of no operation to conserve battery life.
4.2 NCV Voltage Probing
In NCV mode, the screen displays 'EF'. When a nearby AC voltage is detected, the screen will show a rising signal (from EF to ---), and the beep alarm will become more rapid as it gets closer to the power source.

4.3 Zero/Live Wire Identification
In voltage measurement mode, the screen displays '~V'. Touch the touch pole of the pen with your hand and insert the pen's nib into the socket for identification.
- Live Line (FireWire): A red screen is displayed, and the voltage value is high (e.g., ~220V), accompanied by an audible and visual alarm.
- Zero Line (Neutral Line): A green screen is displayed with a voltage value of 0V, with no audible or visual alarms.

4.4 Line Breakpoint Finding
The NCV mode screen shows 'EF'. Along the line, where the signal is strong, the line is smooth. Where the signal is weak or no signal is detected, it indicates a breakpoint position.

4.5 AC Voltage Measurement
To measure AC voltage, touch the touch pole of the pen with your hand and insert the nib into the live conductor. The screen will display the voltage value. Ensure full contact with the touch pole piece and the live conductor for accurate readings.

4.6 Flashlight Function
Press the 'Function Switch Flashlight Key' to turn on the built-in flashlight. This is useful for illuminating work areas in low-light conditions.

4.7 Screwdriver Function
The tip of the ANENG B16 features a one-word (flathead) screwdriver, which is convenient for dismantling and installing furniture or other small electrical components.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe off surface dust or stains promptly after use with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2 Battery Replacement
When the battery is low, 'o' will be displayed on the screen. Replace the two AAA 1.5V batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings and proper device function.
5.3 Storage
When not in use, store the product in a dry, well-ventilated location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate AC Voltage Readings: During AC voltage measurement, ensure your fingers are in full contact with the touch pole piece and the pen's nib is in contact with a live conductor to obtain accurate values. If it comes into contact with metal objects or the outer skin of charged conductors covered by an electric field, or if it is non-contact in a super strong electric field, the displayed voltage value is for reference only and cannot be used as a measurement basis.
- Device Not Powering On: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
- No Response During NCV/Breakpoint Detection: Ensure the device is in the correct mode. If the signal is weak or absent where expected, it might indicate a complete break or no voltage present.
- Battery Undervoltage: If 'o' is displayed on the screen, replace the AAA batteries immediately.
- General Malfunction: If the product is not operating properly, and you have followed all instructions, contact customer support. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself.
