1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the WSDCAM Motorcycle TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). This device is designed to enhance your riding safety by providing real-time monitoring of your motorcycle's tire pressure and temperature. With its advanced features and robust design, you can ride with greater confidence and peace of mind.

2. Key Features

  • Real-time Monitoring: Displays motorcycle tire data, including temperature and pressure, in real-time.
  • 7 Alarm Modes: Includes high-pressure, low-pressure, high-temperature, fast air leakage, sensor data loss, sensor low battery, and receiver low power alarms.
  • Advanced Smart Chip: Quickly and effectively senses tire conditions, providing accurate and timely alerts for abnormal tire pressure. Strong, interference-free signal for higher stability.
  • Automatic Operation: The vibrator automatically enters working state when driving. The monitor automatically enters dormant and standby state when the motorcycle stops for a static period.
  • Intelligent Charging Design: Features magnetic charging for quick and convenient power replenishment. The magnetic design is also waterproof and dustproof.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Charging the Monitor

Before first use, fully charge the TPMS monitor. The unit supports both solar power charging and magnetic USB charging.

  • Solar Charging: Place the monitor in direct sunlight to utilize its integrated solar panel.
  • Magnetic USB Charging: Connect the provided USB power cord to the magnetic charging port on the monitor and a USB power source. The magnetic design ensures a secure, waterproof, and dustproof connection.

4.2 Installing the Monitor

The monitor comes with a mounting bracket suitable for motorcycle handlebars.

  1. Attach the mounting bracket securely to your motorcycle's handlebars.
  2. Slide the TPMS monitor onto the bracket until it clicks into place.
  3. Adjust the viewing angle for optimal visibility while riding.

4.3 Installing the Sensors

The sensors are labeled 'A.F.W' (Front Wheel) and 'B.R.W' (Rear Wheel). Ensure you install them on the correct tires.

  1. Unscrew the valve cap from your tire.
  2. Screw on one of the theft-proof nuts onto the valve stem.
  3. Screw the corresponding sensor (A.F.W for front, B.R.W for rear) onto the valve stem until it is hand-tight.
  4. Using the provided spanner, tighten the theft-proof nut against the sensor to secure it and prevent theft.
  5. Repeat for the other tire.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Automatic Operation

  • The monitor will automatically power on and enter working state when it detects vibration (e.g., when you start riding).
  • When the motorcycle stops and remains static for approximately ten minutes, the monitor will automatically enter a dormant (sleep) and standby state to conserve power.

5.2 Understanding the Display

The LCD color screen provides clear, real-time information about your tires.

FW (Front Wheel) Pressure Current pressure of the front tire (e.g., Psi, Bar)
FW (Front Wheel) Temperature Current temperature of the front tire (e.g., °F, °C)
RW (Rear Wheel) Pressure Current pressure of the rear tire (e.g., Psi, Bar)
RW (Rear Wheel) Temperature Current temperature of the rear tire (e.g., °F, °C)

5.3 Alarm Modes

The TPMS is equipped with a 7-alarm guardian system to alert you to potential issues:

  • High Pressure Alarm: Alerts when tire pressure exceeds a preset safe limit.
  • Low Pressure Alarm: Alerts when tire pressure drops below a preset safe limit.
  • High Temperature Alarm: Alerts when tire temperature exceeds a preset safe limit.
  • Fast Tire Leak Alarm: Detects and alerts rapidly decreasing tire pressure.
  • Sensor Data Loss Alarm: Indicates a sensor is not transmitting data.
  • Sensor Low Battery Alarm: Alerts when a tire sensor's battery is low.
  • Receiver Low Power Alarm: Alerts when the main monitor unit's battery is low.

Upon an alarm, the monitor will typically emit an audible warning and display the specific alarm icon or message on the screen. Address any alarms promptly for your safety.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the monitor and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. The IP67 rating ensures the device is waterproof and dustproof, but avoid submerging it for extended periods or using high-pressure water jets directly on the charging port or sensors.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Regularly check the monitor's power display and recharge as needed using solar power or the magnetic USB cable.
  • If a 'Sensor Low Battery' alarm occurs, replace the battery in the affected sensor immediately. Refer to the sensor's specific instructions for battery replacement.

7. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions
Problem Possible Cause Solution
Monitor not turning on Low battery; no vibration detected. Charge the monitor. Ensure the motorcycle is moving to activate the vibrator sensor.
No tire data displayed / Sensor Data Loss Alarm Sensor not installed correctly; sensor battery low/dead; sensor out of range; interference. Check sensor installation. Replace sensor battery. Ensure sensors are within range of the monitor. Check for strong electromagnetic interference.
Inaccurate readings Sensors not calibrated; external factors (extreme temperature changes). Ensure sensors are correctly paired. Allow time for readings to stabilize after significant temperature changes. Verify tire pressure with a reliable gauge.
High/Low Pressure Alarm Actual tire pressure is outside safe limits. Immediately check tire pressure and inflate/deflate to recommended levels. Inspect for punctures or leaks.
High Temperature Alarm Tire overheating. Pull over safely and allow tires to cool down. Check for under-inflation or excessive load.
