3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your G88 player. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the player and to a 5V-1A standard charging head or a computer's USB port. The device supports 3-hour fast charging. Do NOT use fast chargers exceeding 30W, as the MP3 player does not have a fast charging function and using such chargers may damage the device.

3.2 Inserting the Micro SD Card

The player comes with a 128GB Micro SD card pre-installed or included separately. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the device. Gently insert the Micro SD card until it clicks into place. The device supports up to 512GB Micro SD/TF cards.

3.3 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually on the side) until the screen lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button, then select "Power Off" from the on-screen options. A short press will typically put the device to sleep.

3.4 Connecting Headphones

The G88 offers two headphone output options:

• 4.4mm Balanced Jack: For optimal audio performance and high-power output (500mW@32Ω), use the 4.4mm balanced jack. This connection eliminates crosstalk for a cleaner sound. Note: A 4.4mm balanced cable is required and is not included in the box.
• 3.5mm Single-ended Jack: For standard headphone connections, use the 3.5mm single-ended jack. This provides a maximum output of 125mW/32Ω.

4.1 Navigating the Interface

The G88 features a 4.02-inch touch screen for intuitive navigation. Swipe, tap, and pinch to interact with the Android 12 operating system and various applications.

4.2 Music Playback

The player supports a wide range of audio formats, including MP3, WAV, APE, FLAC, AAC, ALAC, DSF, DFF, ISO, and DTS. You can play music from the internal storage, the Micro SD card, or through streaming applications installed via the Google Play Store.

4.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

The G88 features bidirectional Bluetooth 5.2, allowing it to function as both a transmitter and a receiver.

• Transmitter Mode: Connect to Bluetooth headphones, speakers, car audio systems, or home audio setups for wireless audio streaming.
• Receiver Mode: Receive audio from other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

To pair, go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth, and select your desired device from the list.
