  4. Initial Run (Optional): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor may be present, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

  1. Place the main unit on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Ensure the mesh basket is securely placed inside the glass tray.

  3. You can manually adjust the temperature and time even after selecting a pre-set program if needed.
  4. Press the Power button to start cooking.

General Cooking Guide

  • Oil Usage: While designed for oil-free cooking, a small amount of oil (1-2 tablespoons) can be added to some foods for extra crispiness. Toss food with oil before placing it in the basket.
  • Food Quantity: Do not overcrowd the basket. Cook in smaller batches if necessary to ensure even cooking and crisping.
  • Shaking/Flipping: For best results, shake smaller items (like fries) or flip larger items (like chicken pieces) halfway through cooking.
  • Preheating: Preheating the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired temperature can improve cooking results for some foods.
  • Doneness: Always ensure food is cooked to a safe internal temperature.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your air fryer.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Glass Tray and Basket: The glass tray and mesh basket are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak in warm water before cleaning.
  3. Clean Interior: Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. For stubborn food residue, use a mild detergent and a soft brush. Ensure the interior is completely dry before next use.
  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
  5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the air fryer in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air fryer does not turn on. Not plugged in; power outlet malfunction; glass tray not fully inserted. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Push the glass tray firmly until it clicks into place.
Food is not cooked evenly. Basket overcrowded; food not shaken/flipped. Cook in smaller batches. Shake or flip food halfway through cooking.
Food is not crispy. Too much moisture in food; not enough oil (optional); temperature too low. Pat food dry before cooking. Lightly toss with oil. Increase temperature or cooking time.
White smoke coming from the appliance. Grease residue from previous use; cooking fatty foods. Clean the glass tray and basket thoroughly after each use. This is normal when cooking very fatty foods.

User Tips

  • Experiment with Recipes: Don't be afraid to try various recipes. Air fryers are versatile for everything from frozen snacks to roasted vegetables and even some baked goods.
  • Use Parchment Paper: For easier cleanup and to prevent sticking, you can line the bottom of the mesh basket with air fryer-specific parchment paper, ensuring it doesn't block air circulation.
  • Preheat for Best Results: While not always necessary, preheating the air fryer for a few minutes can lead to crispier results, especially for items like fries or chicken wings.
  • Don't Overcrowd: This is key for even cooking and crispiness. If you have a large amount of food, cook it in batches.
  • Check Doneness: Cooking times can vary based on food type, quantity, and desired crispiness. Always check food for doneness and adjust time as needed.
