2. Setup and Initial Charge
2.1 Initial Solar Charge
Your TRITON-TI watch is powered by light, converting any visible light source into energy. For optimal performance, ensure the watch receives sufficient light exposure, especially upon first use or after prolonged storage in darkness.
- Full Charge: A full charge can provide over 180 days of power reserve.
- Charging Environment: The watch charges efficiently under direct sunlight (approx. 52 hours for full charge at 50,000 LUX) or even indoor lighting (approx. 190 hours for full charge at 10,000 LUX).
- Avoid Battery Changes: The solar-powered movement eliminates the need for frequent battery replacements.

2.2 Time Adjustment
The TRITON-TI features a water-resistant screw-down crown for time setting.
- Unlock Crown: Rotate the crown counterclockwise until it pops out slightly to Position 1 automatically.
- Set Time: Gently pull the crown out one more notch to Position 2. Rotate the crown to set the desired time.
- Lock Crown: Push the crown back to Position 1. Apply constant pressure while rotating clockwise to confirm full lock. Ensure the crown is fully screwed down to maintain water resistance.

3. Operating Your Dive Watch
3.1 Water Resistance
The TRITON-TI is designed to meet Professional Diver's Standard with 300m (1000ft) water resistance. It is suitable for:
- Swimming
- Snorkeling
- Scuba Diving
Important: Avoid exposure to hot water, high pressure water jets, or harsh chemicals, as these can compromise the watch's seals and water resistance.

3.2 Unidirectional Rotating Ceramic Dive Bezel
The watch features a high-temperature fired ceramic bezel with a 60-minute graduated scale, designed for timing dives and other activities. The bezel rotates unidirectionally (counter-clockwise) to prevent accidental increases in elapsed time.
Figure 6: Dive Bezel Features
Bezel Operation Guide for Timing a Dive:
- Before Dive: Position the bezel's triangle marker (▼) against the minute hand. Rotate the bezel counter-clockwise until the triangle aligns with the current minute hand position.
- During Dive: The minute hand will then indicate the elapsed time on the bezel's scale.
- Dive End: When the dive is complete, the minute hand will align with the bezel's "30" marker (or desired elapsed time).

3.3 Luminous Markers & Hands
The watch features Quick-Glow Technology, providing bright luminescence after brief exposure to sunlight, ensuring readability in low-light conditions and underwater.

4. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. For dive watches, rinse thoroughly with fresh water after exposure to saltwater to prevent corrosion.
- Solar Charging: To maintain optimal charge, expose the watch to light regularly. Avoid prolonged storage in dark places.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes, as this can affect the seals and movement.
- Chemicals: Keep the watch away from solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetics, which can damage the case, strap, or seals.
- Crown: Always ensure the screw-down crown is fully locked before exposing the watch to water.
5. Troubleshooting
- Watch is not running or stops frequently:
- The watch may not have sufficient charge. Place it under a bright light source (e.g., direct sunlight) for several hours to recharge. Ensure the crown is pushed in and locked.
- Time is inaccurate:
- Re-adjust the time following the instructions in Section 2.2. If inaccuracy persists after proper charging and setting, contact customer support.
- Condensation inside the crystal:
- This indicates a potential breach in the watch's water resistance. Immediately take the watch to a qualified watch technician for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
- Bezel is stiff or difficult to rotate:
- Rinse the bezel area with fresh water to remove any debris (salt, sand, dirt). If it remains stiff, avoid forcing it and seek professional service.

7. User Tips
- Regular Light Exposure: Even if you don't wear your watch daily, ensure it gets regular exposure to light to keep the solar cell charged and prevent the power reserve from depleting.
- Post-Dive Rinse: Always rinse your watch with fresh water after diving or swimming in saltwater to prevent salt buildup and corrosion, especially around the bezel and crown.
- Crown Check: Before any water activity, double-check that the screw-down crown is fully tightened to maintain the watch's water resistance.
