2. Product Features

3. Setup Instructions

- Download the Smart Life or TuyaSmart app from your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

3.2 Device Pairing
Important Note for Zigbee Plugs: If you have a Zigbee version of the smart plug, a Tuya Zigbee Gateway (hub) is required to access all functions. Ensure your gateway is already paired with the app.
- Plug the FARYLINK Smart Plug into a standard wall outlet.
- Long press the power button on the smart plug until the indicator light quickly flashes. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
- Open the Smart Life or TuyaSmart app.
- For WiFi plugs: Tap "ADD DEVICE" or the "+" icon in the top right corner, then select "Electrical Outlet (Wi-Fi)" or "Socket (Wi-Fi)". Follow the in-app instructions to connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- For Zigbee plugs: Navigate to your Tuya hub control interface in the app. Tap "ADD DEVICE" and follow the in-app instructions to discover and add the Zigbee smart plug.
- Once successfully paired, you can rename the device for easier identification.

3.3 Linking with Smart Speakers (Alexa/Google Home)
- Open the Amazon Alexa app or Google Home app.
- Navigate to the "Skills & Games" section (Alexa) or "Works with Google" section (Google Home).
- Search for "Smart Life" or "TuyaSmart" and enable the skill/service.
- Link your Smart Life/TuyaSmart account with your smart speaker app by entering your credentials.
- Once linked, the smart speaker app will automatically discover your FARYLINK Smart Plug. You can then assign it to rooms or groups.

After successful pairing, you can turn the smart plug on or off from anywhere using the Smart Life/TuyaSmart app. Simply tap the power icon next to the device name in the app.
4.2 Voice Control
Use voice commands with your linked smart speaker. For example:

- "Hey Google, turn off [Device Name]"
- "Yandex Alice, set [Device Name] to on"
4.3 Timing Function
To set schedules or timers:
- In the Smart Life/TuyaSmart app, select your FARYLINK Smart Plug.
- Tap on the "Schedule" or "Timer" option.
