Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the exterior of the charging case, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the device.
- Storage: When the charging case is not in active use, store it in a cool, dry environment. Protect it from direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme temperatures to preserve its functionality and lifespan.
- Battery Storage: For optimal long-term battery health, it is recommended to charge your batteries to approximately 60% before storing them. Utilize the adjustable charging stop level feature for this purpose.
- MicroSD Card Care: Always ensure that microSD cards are inserted and ejected correctly according to the instructions to prevent damage to both the card and the case's slots.
Troubleshooting
- Screen not displaying information:
-
- Ensure at least one battery is inserted into a slot or the charging case is connected to an active power source.
- Press the side button on the case to manually wake the screen.
- Batteries not charging:
-
- Verify that the USB-C power source is functioning correctly and is capable of providing sufficient power (e.g., a 24W PD charger).
- Check that the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the power adapter and the charging case.
- Confirm that the batteries are correctly inserted into their respective slots, ensuring proper electrical contact.
- Examine the screen for any error messages or temperature warnings. Charging may be temporarily paused if the battery temperature is outside the safe operating range (too high or too low). Refer to Figure 4 for status legends.
- Slow charging speed:
-
- Ensure you are utilizing a power adapter that is compatible with PD3.0/PD2.0 and can deliver at least 24W of power.
- Check the adjustable charging power setting on the case. If it is set too low, increase it to a higher wattage (refer to Figure 5).
- Charging speed can be significantly affected by ambient temperature. Ensure the operating environment is within the recommended range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
