5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the printer. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the printer's charging port and the other end to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

5.2 Loading Thermal Paper

  1. Gently open the printer cover.
  2. Insert the thermal paper roll or folded thermal paper into the paper compartment, ensuring the printing side faces the thermal print head.
  3. Pull a small amount of paper out of the printer.
  4. Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place.

5.3 Connecting to PC (USB)

To print from your PC via USB, you need to install the printer driver:

  1. Download Driver: Scan the QR code provided in the image below or visit one of the following websites to download the printer driver:

5.4 Connecting to Mobile Phone/Tablet (Bluetooth)

To print from your mobile device via Bluetooth, you need to use the dedicated app:

  1. Download App: Search for and download the "Scanpring" app from your device's app store (e.g., App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
  2. Connect Device:
    • Turn on the printer.
    • Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Printing

After successful connection (either USB to PC or Bluetooth to mobile device), you can initiate printing:

  • From PC: Open the document or image you wish to print, select the NETUM GD-85 from your printer list, and click "Print".
  • From Mobile App: Within the "Scanpring" app, navigate to the document, image, or web page you want to print and select the print option.

6.2 Smart Scan Feature

7. Maintenance
