3. Setup Instructions
-
Prepare Your TV:
Ensure your TV or monitor is clean and dry on the back surface where the LED strip will be applied. The product is suitable for 40-85 inch displays.
-
Attach the LED Strip:
Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip. Starting from one corner, firmly press the strip along the edges of the back of your TV. Ensure the strip is evenly distributed and secured. The strip is not waterproof, so avoid exposure to moisture.
-
Mount the Camera:
The camera unit measures approximately 15.5cm (6.1in) in height and 10cm (3.94in) in width. Mount the high-definition camera unit centrally on the top edge of your TV screen. Ensure the camera lens has a clear, unobstructed view of the entire screen. The camera is crucial for accurate color detection.

Connect Power:
Connect the USB power cable to the LED strip and then to a 5V USB power source (e.g., a TV USB port or a USB wall adapter). Ensure the power source can provide sufficient current for the LED strip (21-30W).
-
Initial Calibration (Auto Screen Size Detection):
The system features auto screen size detection. Once powered on, the camera will automatically calibrate to your TV's screen size and aspect ratio to ensure accurate color capturing across the full screen. This process helps to avoid issues like 'TV black bar awkwardness' and ensures seamless hue filling.

- Check if the USB power cable is securely connected to both the LED strip and a working 5V USB power source.
- Ensure the power source provides adequate wattage (21-30W).
- Verify the remote control batteries are functional and correctly inserted.
- Colors not syncing correctly:
- Ensure the camera is mounted centrally on top of the TV and has a clear, unobstructed view of the entire screen.
- Check for strong external light sources that might interfere with the camera's color detection.
- Make sure the 'AUTO' color mode is selected on the remote control.
- Clean the camera lens if it appears dirty.
