- HDMI Connection: For direct display, connect the HDMI cable from the camera to an HDMI-compatible monitor or TV.
- USB Connection (for PC software): Connect the USB cable from the camera to your computer. Install the provided software (if applicable) to access additional editing and control features.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the microscope is set up, follow these steps for operation:
5.1. Powering On and Initial View
- Ensure all connections are secure.
- Press the power button on the camera or use the remote control to turn on the device.
- The image should appear on your connected display.

5.2. Adjusting Focus and Magnification
- Place the object you wish to inspect under the microscope lens.
- Adjust the height of the camera using the bracket to achieve a rough focus.
- Rotate the focus ring on the 1X-150X C-mount lens to fine-tune the image clarity.
- Adjust the zoom ring on the lens to change the magnification (1-150X continuous zoom).

5.3. Using the Remote Control and OSD Menu
The remote control allows for convenient operation without touching the microscope, reducing image shake. Use it to:
- Power on/off the camera.
- Adjust exposure (automatic/manual, compensation).
- Adjust white balance (automatic/one-key, RGB).
- Activate freeze/thaw function.
- Navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu to access advanced settings like line drawing, cross-line display, image adjustments (brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation), and language selection.
5.4. Recording and Capturing Images
- Insert a TF card (up to 64GB) into the camera's TF card slot for storing photos and videos.
- Use the remote control or camera buttons to initiate video recording (4K for YIZHAN-4003/4006/4002 models) or capture photos (48MP for YIZHAN-4003/4006/4002 models, 13MP for YIZHAN-2003).
- When connected to a PC via USB, use the dedicated software to capture images and videos, and access additional editing features.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your digital microscope.
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
- Cleaning the Camera Body: Wipe the camera body and bracket with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, store the microscope in a clean, dry, and dust-free environment. Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Always handle the microscope with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Cable Management: Ensure cables are not tangled or pinched to prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your microscope, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image on display | Power not connected, HDMI/VGA cable loose, display input incorrect. | Check power adapter connection. Ensure HDMI/VGA cable is securely connected to both microscope and display. Select correct input source on your display. |
| Image is blurry/out of focus | Incorrect working distance, lens not focused. | Adjust the height of the microscope on the bracket. Rotate the focus ring on the lens until the image is clear. |
| Microscope not detected by PC software | USB cable loose/faulty, software not installed/updated, driver issue. | Ensure USB cable is securely connected. Try a different USB port or cable. Reinstall or update the PC software and drivers. |
| Remote control not working | No battery/low battery, obstruction, remote control faulty. | Insert new batteries (not included). Ensure no obstructions between remote and camera's IR receiver. Point directly at the camera. |
| Image too dark/bright | Exposure settings incorrect, insufficient/excessive lighting. | Adjust exposure settings via OSD menu or remote control. Adjust the brightness of the LED light. |
8. User Tips
- Stable Setup: Always ensure the bracket is securely clamped or placed on a stable surface to prevent vibrations that can affect image clarity, especially at high magnifications.
- Optimal Lighting: Experiment with the LED light brightness and angle to achieve the best contrast and illumination for your subject. For highly reflective surfaces, indirect lighting might be beneficial.
- Software Features: Utilize the PC software for advanced image processing, measurement, and annotation features that might not be available directly through the camera's OSD menu.
- Working Distance: Pay attention to the lens's working distance (50mm-1000mm for the 1X-150X lens). Adjusting this distance is crucial for achieving focus across different magnifications.
- Remote Control Convenience: Use the remote control for capturing images and adjusting settings to avoid accidental movement of the microscope, which can cause blur.
