  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
  • Do not use without dust bag and/or filters in place.
  • Turn off all controls before unplugging.
  • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
  • Store your appliance indoors in a cool, dry area.

Setup

1. Assembly

  1. Attach the Extension Tube: Insert the extension tube into the main handheld unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Attach the Floor Nozzle: Connect the motorized floor nozzle to the other end of the extension tube, ensuring it locks firmly.
  3. Install the Battery: Insert the removable 22V battery into the designated slot on the main unit until it clicks.

2. Charging the Battery

The HF1 features a removable 22V battery, allowing you to charge it conveniently wherever and whenever you want.

  1. Remove the battery from the main unit by pressing the release button and sliding it out.
  2. Connect the charger to the battery charging port.
  3. Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet.
  4. The battery indicator lights will show the charging status. Charge fully before first use.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button once to start the vacuum cleaner. Press it again to turn it off.

2. Continuous Suction Mode

For extended cleaning tasks without needing to hold the ON/OFF button, activate the continuous suction mode:

  • Press the power lever twice to engage continuous suction.
  • Press the lever again to disengage.

3. Using Attachments

The HF1 comes with various attachments for different cleaning needs:

  • Motorized Floor Nozzle: Ideal for floors and carpets. It features LED lights to illuminate dark spaces, ensuring no dirt is missed.

4. Quick Park&Go Feature

The HF1 can be temporarily parked in an upright position, if necessary, to conveniently manage quick tasks or pauses during cleaning.

Maintenance

1. Emptying the Dustbin

The large 0.9-liter dustbin simplifies maintenance by reducing emptying frequency and avoiding direct contact with dust and allergens.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
  2. Locate the dustbin release button, usually near the handle.
  3. Press the button to detach the dustbin from the main unit.
  4. Hold the dustbin over a trash can and open the bottom flap to empty its contents.
  5. Close the flap and reattach the dustbin to the main unit until it clicks.

2. Cleaning the Brush Roll

The easy brush roll removal system allows you to quickly clean tangled hair and debris, keeping your HF1 in optimal condition.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off and disconnected from any power source.
  2. Locate the brush roll release mechanism on the motorized floor nozzle.
  3. Follow the instructions to release and remove the brush roll.
  4. Carefully remove any tangled hair, threads, or debris from the brush roll using scissors if necessary.
  5. Reinsert the clean brush roll until it locks securely.

3. Filter Cleaning

Regularly clean the filters to maintain optimal suction power.

  1. Remove the dustbin as described above.
  2. Locate and remove the filters (usually a pre-motor filter and sometimes a post-motor filter).
  3. Tap the filters gently over a trash can to remove loose dust.
  4. If washable, rinse the filters under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergents.
  5. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating devices.
  6. Reassemble the filters and dustbin.
