2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the BT910 battery tester. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always wear appropriate eye protection when working with batteries.
  • Ensure the vehicle's ignition is OFF before connecting or disconnecting the tester.
  • Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.

  • Do not operate the tester in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.

5. Setup

5.1 Connecting the Tester

  1. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is turned off.
  2. Clean the battery terminals to ensure good contact.
  3. Connect the red positive (+) clamp of the tester to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
  4. Connect the black negative (-) clamp of the tester to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
  5. The tester will power on automatically once connected correctly.

6. Operating Instructions

Navigate through the menu using the arrow keys and confirm selections with the 'OK' button.

6.1 Battery Test

This function quickly and accurately displays details of the battery parameters.

  1. From the main menu, select 'Car' or 'Motorcycle' depending on your vehicle.
  2. Choose 'Battery Test'.
  3. Select the battery location: 'In-Vehicle' or 'Out-of-Vehicle'.

6.2 Cranking Test

This test analyzes the actual starting voltage and starting time of the vehicle, diagnosing the performance of the battery and the health status of the startup system.

  1. From the main menu, select 'Car' or 'Motorcycle'.
  2. Choose 'Cranking Test'.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts, which will instruct you to turn off the engine before proceeding.
  4. The tester will monitor the cranking voltage and cranking time.
  5. Results will be displayed, indicating the health of the cranking system.

6.3 Charging System Analysis

  1. From the main menu, select 'Waveform'.
  2. The tester will display a real-time graph of voltage fluctuations.

The BT910 allows you to review past test results and waveforms, and print them if connected to a compatible printer (via computer software).
