5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your P25 HUD, follow these general maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Ensure the OBD cable connection is secure and free from damage.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this may void any applicable warranty.

If you encounter issues with your P25 HUD, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Display/Power: Ensure the OBD cable is securely connected to both the vehicle's OBD2 port and the HUD unit. Check your vehicle's ignition status.
  • Only GPS Functions Available: If your vehicle does not support the OBD2 protocol (e.g., older models or non-gasoline vehicles), the device will automatically default to GPS mode. This is normal behavior.
  • Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky for GPS signal acquisition. For OBD2 readings, verify your vehicle's compatibility.
  • Alarms Triggering Frequently: Review your driving habits and the alarm settings within the HUD menu. Adjust thresholds if necessary.
