6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your VaneAims Voltage Protection Relay, consider the following general troubleshooting steps:

  • No Display/Power: Check the power connections (L and N terminals) and ensure the power supply is active.
  • Device Not Protecting: Verify that the overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent settings (P-3, P-5, P-9) are correctly configured for your application and that the device is switched ON.
  • Incorrect Readings: If voltage or current readings appear inaccurate, check the wiring. For some models, a voltage/current correction setting (P-8, P-12) might be available for fine-tuning.
  • Device Trips Frequently: Review your protection settings (P-3, P-5, P-9) and delay times (P-2, P-4, P-7, P-10) to ensure they are appropriate for your load and power conditions.
  • Cannot Access Settings: Ensure you are long-pressing the SET button for 5 seconds. If a password is set (P-19), ensure you are using the correct password (factory default is 112).

For persistent issues, please refer to the detailed instruction manual PDF (if available) or contact VaneAims customer support.
