- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the kettle and tea basket with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the power base in water.
- Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop and out of reach of children.
- Assemble: Place the glass kettle securely onto the power base. Ensure the tea basket is properly inserted into its designated position within the kettle.
- Initial Rinse: Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX fill line (1.7L). Boil the water and then discard it. Repeat this process 1-2 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
Operating Instructions
- Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line (1.7L) or go below the MIN fill line (0.5L).
- Add Tea (Optional): If making tea, add your preferred tea leaves to the automatic lifting tea basket.
- Place on Base: Ensure the kettle is properly seated on the power base.
- Select Function: The kettle features a 'Five Menu' control panel. Use the buttons on the base to select your desired function (e.g., boil water, specific tea type brewing, keep warm). Refer to the icons on the control panel for specific settings.
- Start Operation: Press the 'Start' or 'Power' button to begin the selected function. The kettle will automatically heat the water.
- Automatic Lift: For tea brewing, the intelligent magnetic suction control will automatically lift and lower the tea basket according to the selected program, ensuring optimal infusion.
- Keep Warm: If the automatic keep-warm function is selected or activated, the kettle will maintain the water at a set temperature after boiling or brewing.
- Serve: Once the process is complete, carefully lift the kettle from the base by its handle and pour.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Interior: The interior of the kettle and the tea basket can be washed with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Tea Basket: Remove the tea basket and clean it separately to remove any tea leaf residues.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or next use.
Descaling
- Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance.
- To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar (or a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions).
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if the scale is heavy.
- Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove any vinegar residue.
- Repeat if necessary.
