3. Setup and Programming
3.1 Important Compatibility Note
This remote control is designed for rolling code systems (indicated by a blue LED on the original remote). If your original remote control uses a fixed code (indicated by a red LED), this remote will not be compatible.

3.2 Programming from an Original Remote (Cloning)
If your original remote is in working order, follow these steps to clone its code to your new remote:
- Press and hold the button on the new remote control where you want to store the code. While holding it, press any other button 3 times. Continue holding the first button until the LED on the new remote illuminates red for 10 seconds. Release all buttons.
- Place the original remote control to the left of the new remote, as close as possible (0-20 mm distance).
- Press and hold the button on the original remote control that you wish to program. Continue holding until the LED on the new remote alternates flashing red and blue. Check if the LED of the new remote is flashing blue. If not, try moving the original remote closer.
- The learning procedure is complete when the new remote's LED flashes blue rapidly. Release all buttons.
- Repeat this procedure for any remaining buttons you wish to program.

3.3 Programming with Receiver (Original Remote Lost)
If your original remote control is lost, you can use this remote control to learn directly with your receiver. The learning method is the same as your original remote control. Refer to your garage door opener's manual for specific instructions on how to put the receiver into learning mode. If your receiver is in fixed code mode, you need to switch the remote control mode (see section 3.5) before learning with the receiver.
3.4 Remote Control Reset Procedure
To assign a new radio code to each button of the remote control, follow these steps:
- Remove the battery for 10 seconds.
- Press and hold one button of the remote control.
- While holding the button, reinsert the battery. Observe the LED:
- The LED will slowly flash blue for 4 seconds.
- The LED will then flash quickly blue for 2 seconds.
- Finally, the LED will illuminate blue for a long time.
- Release the button. All radio codes are now newly assigned.
Note: If the button is released prematurely, no new radio codes will be assigned.
3.5 Setting Remote to Fixed Code 868MHz
If you need to use the remote with a fixed code 868MHz system, follow these steps immediately after performing the remote reset procedure (Section 3.4):
- After completing the reset procedure, immediately press and hold a button on the remote.
- Observe the LED sequence:
- The LED will slowly flash blue for 4 seconds.
- The LED will then flash rapidly blue for 2 seconds.
- The LED will illuminate blue for a long time.
- The LED will then slowly flash red for 4 seconds.
- The LED will flash rapidly red for 2 seconds.
- Finally, the LED will illuminate red for a long time.
- Release the button. All radio codes are now newly assigned for fixed code 868MHz.
Note: If the button is released prematurely, the BiSecur (rolling) radio code will remain active.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The remote control includes a battery. When the remote's range decreases significantly or the LED indicator becomes dim, it may be time to replace the battery. To replace the battery, carefully open the remote control casing (refer to Figure 6 for visual guidance on the remote's construction) and insert a new battery of the same type, ensuring correct polarity.

4.2 General Care
- Keep the remote control dry and away from moisture.
- Avoid dropping the remote control or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Clean the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
5. Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding: Check the battery. If the battery is low, replace it. Ensure the remote is within the operating range of the receiver.
- Programming failed (LED not flashing correctly): Ensure the original remote is placed very close (0-20mm) to the new remote during cloning. Make sure you are pressing the buttons for the correct duration as described in the programming steps.
- Remote works but garage door doesn't open/close: Verify that the remote is programmed to the correct code type (rolling code for BiSecur systems). If you suspect it's in fixed code mode, perform the reset and fixed code setup (Section 3.5). Also, check the garage door opener's receiver for any issues.
- Intermittent operation: This could indicate a low battery or interference. Try replacing the battery.
6. User Tips
- Always confirm the compatibility of your existing garage door opener model with this remote control before attempting programming.
- Keep a spare battery on hand to avoid interruptions in service.
- For optimal performance, ensure a clear line of sight between the remote and the garage door opener's receiver.
