3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the controls and ports of your M-VAVE Pocket AMP.

Controls and Indicators:
- 1.54-inch Color Display: Shows preset information, battery level, and other settings.
- Master Knob: Controls the overall output volume. This also affects Bluetooth and USB input volumes.
- PARA Knob (with Push Rotary Encoder): Rotate to select items or adjust parameters. Press to enter/exit parameter editing. A 1-second long press enters the 'Save to' preset saving interface; a second long press exits it. Short press of the HOME key exits saving/swapping interfaces.
- Power Switch (with BT/OTG/WIFI Status Light): Short press turns on the unit and displays the interface. A second short press starts operation. A long press toggles BT/WIFI on/off. The light blinks when BT/WIFI is not connected and is solid when connected.
- HOME Key: Short press returns to the main interface. Long press (approx. 1-second) enters the 'Save to' preset saving interface, and a second long press exits it. When in the 'Save to' or 'Swap to' interface, a short press of the HOME key exits the saving interface and returns to the main interface.
- VOL- Key: Decreases the preset volume by 5.
- VOL+ Key: Increases the preset volume by 5.
- < Key: Selects the previous preset (scroll down).
- > Key: Selects the next preset (scroll up).

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the Pocket AMP using the provided USB-C cable and a 5V/0.5A (or higher) USB power adapter. The charging indicator light (part of the Power Switch LED) will show charging status.
4.2 Connecting Your Instrument and Output Device
- Connect your electric guitar or bass to the IN (1/4" mono jack) port.
- Connect your headphones to the Headphone Output (3.5mm stereo jack) for silent practice, or connect an amplifier or audio interface to the OUT (1/4" mono jack) port.
4.3 Installing the Clamp (Optional)
The Pocket AMP can be mounted using the included strap clip and guitar mount accessories.

- Attach the clamp base to the bottom of the Pocket AMP using the provided screw.
- Once the clamp base is secured, slide the Pocket AMP into the guitar mount.
- Attach the guitar mount to your guitar's headstock or strap as desired.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Short press the Power Switch (4) to turn on the unit. A second short press will start operation. To turn off, long press the Power Switch.
5.2 Navigating Presets
Use the < (8) and > (9) keys to scroll through presets. The display (1) will show the current preset number (e.g., P01).
5.3 Adjusting Volume
Use the VOL- (6) and VOL+ (7) keys to adjust the preset volume in increments of 5. The Master Knob (2) controls the overall output volume.
5.4 Effect Modules
The Pocket AMP features 6 movable effect modules: FX, AMP, MOD, DELAY, REVERB, and CAB. The order of these modules in the effects chain can be rearranged for flexible tone creation.

5.5 BANK Mode
The Pocket AMP supports a BANK mode for organizing presets. When the yellow light of the first preset number and the bottom lights up, the effect processor switches to Tone 01. Pressing the VOL+ button will move to Tone 02, and so on.
To enter BANK Mode, press the VOL- and VOL+ keys simultaneously. The preset number at the top will not change, but the bottom preset number areas will flash. Use the VOL-, VOL+, <, or > buttons to select a tone within the bank.
5.6 Tuner Function
When switching to the Tuner interface, you will see a real-time signal display bar. There are two options:
- Refer: Located at the bottom left, this adjusts the reference frequency of the standard A pitch (430Hz to 450Hz).
- Bypass Volume: Located at the bottom right, this controls the input volume for Bypass mode.
5.7 Mobile App Control (Bluetooth)
Connect your Pocket AMP to your mobile device via Bluetooth 5.0 to access the official app for tone adjustment, management, and playing backing tracks.

5.8 PC Control Software (M-EFCS)
Connect the Pocket AMP to your PC via the USB-C cable to use the M-EFCS software. This software provides a more intuitive operation experience, allowing you to:
