2.2. Precautions

  • Do not use when driving or operating machinery.
  • Do not allow contact with metal objects during use.
  • When starting treatment, ensure the two skin electrodes of the same group do not short circuit or damage the instrument.
  • Do not use skin electrodes that others have used to avoid possible cross-infection.
  • Do not use in bath or when your body sweats.
  • Do not stick the skin electrode to the eyes, front of the neck, and heart.
  • Do not use in situations where flammable and explosive gases are present.
  • Keep at a certain distance from electrical equipment (e.g., TV, radio) to avoid electromagnetic interference.
  • Potential Hazard Warning: When a high-frequency surgical device is connected to a patient at the same time, burns may occur in the electrode slot of this instrument, and the instrument may also be damaged.
  • Do not use near shortwave or microwave therapy equipment (such as within 1m), as this instrument may be unstable.
  • Use electrodes as a slot close to the chest will increase the danger of heart fiber tremors. The instrument should be used under the guidance of a doctor.

5. Setup and Preparation

Before use, it is recommended to wipe the area to be treated with a hot towel or medical alcohol. Ensure all intensity adjustment knobs are returned to '0' before powering on, otherwise an alarm may sound.

5.1. Connecting Electrodes

  1. Insert the output line into the jack of the skin electrode.
  2. Peel off the anti-stick paper from the skin electrode and stick it on the part of the desired treatment area.
  3. Insert the other end of the electrode output line into the output jack on the device.
  4. After treatment, first pull out the output line plug from the jack and then remove the skin electrode.

For electric needle treatment, insert the electrode output line into the millimeter electrode clamp, and then clamp the millimeter needle electrode to the needle handle that has been acupunctured. Electric needle therapy must be used by a professional acupuncture doctor and strictly follow operating procedures.

5.2. Powering On

Press the power switch. The power indicator light will turn on, indicating the device is ready for use.

6. Operation

6.1. Initial Adjustment Check

Before starting treatment, ensure all six output intensity adjustment knobs are turned fully to the left (minimum intensity). Failure to do so may trigger an alarm sound.

6.2. Mode and Setting Selection

  • Press the Mode button to cycle through the three available waveforms: continuous wave, intermittent wave, and dense wave.
  • The timing can be set from 1 to 60 minutes, continuously adjustable.
  • The pulse frequency of the needle meter is 1-99Hz, continuously adjustable. The required treatment frequency can be adjusted using the key setting frequency.

6.3. Waveform Descriptions

  • Continuous Wave (F1): Frequency 1-100Hz, continuously adjustable.
  • Intermittent Wave (F2): Frequency 1-100Hz, continuously adjustable. Disconnection time is 10 seconds, evacuation time is 30 seconds.
  • Dense Wave (F3): Density wave frequency is 1/5 of the sparse wave frequency. Sparse wave frequency is 5-100Hz, continuously adjustable. Evacuation time is 10 seconds, dense wave time is 15 seconds.

6.4. Pulse Width Adjustment

The pulse width is adjustable from 30-200 microseconds, allowing for precise control over the stimulation intensity. This feature is widely used in clinical data selection.
