5. Setup and Initial Use

5.1. Assembly

  1. Carefully remove the scooter from its packaging.
  2. Lift the stem until it locks into place.
  3. Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring they are securely fastened with the provided screws and tools.
  4. Check that all connections are tight and secure.

5.2. Initial Charging

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery.

  • Locate the charging port on the scooter.
  • Connect the charger to the charging port, then plug the charger into a power outlet.
  • The charging indicator on the charger will typically show red while charging and turn green when fully charged.
  • Charging time is approximately 6-8 hours for a full charge.
  • Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

6.1. Unfolding and Folding

The iSCOOTER W5 features a 3-second folding design for easy portability and storage.

To Unfold:

  1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  2. Release the folding latch mechanism.
  3. Lift the stem until it clicks securely into the upright position.
  4. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged before riding.

To Fold:

  1. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
  2. Locate and disengage the folding latch.
  3. Carefully fold the stem downwards until it locks into the folded position.

6.2. Riding Your Scooter

The iSCOOTER W5 offers a top speed of 19 Mph and a long range of 15-21 miles on a single charge.

  1. Power On: Press the power button on the handlebar display.
  2. Kick Start: Place one foot on the deck and use the other foot to push off the ground.
  3. Accelerate: Once moving, gently press the throttle lever to engage the motor.
  4. Braking: The scooter is equipped with a Dual-Braking Safe System, including an E-Brake and a Disk Brake. Use the brake levers on the handlebars to slow down or stop.

6.3. Lighting System
