4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Device Installation

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: The device will automatically power on within 5 seconds when your vehicle's ignition is turned on.
- Power Off: The device will automatically power off when your vehicle's ignition is turned off.
5.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
The HE686 supports wireless CarPlay for iPhones and Android Auto for Android phones, allowing seamless integration of your smartphone's features onto the dash cam screen.
- Enable Bluetooth & Wi-Fi: On your smartphone, ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled.
- Pair Device: On the HE686, navigate to the 'CarPlay' or 'Android Auto' icon. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your phone via Bluetooth.
- Connect: Once paired, the device will establish a wireless connection, and your phone's interface will appear on the HE686 screen.


5.3 Wireless Screen Mirroring (AirPlay & Miracast)
The device supports AirPlay for iOS and Miracast for Android, allowing you to project your phone's screen directly onto the HE686 display.
- Select Mirrorcast/Airplay: On the HE686, tap the 'Miracast' or 'Airplay' icon.
