6. Installation and Setup

6.1 Mounting the Inverter

  • Choose a suitable location indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  • Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the inverter's weight (approx. 6.7KG).
  • Allow sufficient clearance around the inverter for proper ventilation, especially around the cooling fans.
  • Mount the inverter vertically to facilitate heat dissipation.

6.2 Battery Connection

The inverter supports 12V or 24V battery systems and is compatible with multiple battery types.

  • Connect the battery bank to the BATTERY terminals on the inverter's rear panel, ensuring correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
  • For lithium batteries (LI), ensure solar energy is present to activate the battery (typically after 3 seconds).
  • The inverter supports a maximum battery charging current of 100A.

6.3 Solar Panel (PV) Connection

  • Connect your solar panel array to the PV IN terminals.
  • Ensure the PV array's MPPT voltage range is between 55V and 500V DC.
  • The maximum PV array open circuit voltage should not exceed 500V.
  • The maximum PV array power supported is 4000W.
  • Ensure correct polarity for PV connections.

6.4 AC Input (Utility/Generator) Connection

  • Connect the utility grid or a generator to the AC IN terminals (L, N).
  • Ensure the input breaker is in the OFF position before connecting.
  • The inverter is designed for a nominal input voltage of 230V.

6.5 AC Output (Load) Connection

  • Connect your home appliances or other loads to the AC OUT terminals (L, N).
  • The inverter provides a single-phase 230V output.
  • Ensure the total load does not exceed the inverter's rated output power (2300W for 12V battery mode, 4200W for 24V battery mode).

6.6 Grounding

  • Connect the inverter's grounding point to a reliable earth ground. This is a critical safety measure.

7. Operation

7.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Ensure all connections are secure. First, connect the battery, then the solar panels, and finally the AC input. Switch on the input breaker. The inverter will initiate its startup sequence.
  • To Power Off: Reverse the power-on sequence. First, disconnect the AC input, then the solar panels, and finally the battery.

7.2 LCD Display and Settings

The LCD display provides real-time information about the system status. Use the control buttons to navigate through menus and adjust settings.

  • Setting Charging Current: You can configure the battery charging current via the LCD to match your battery specifications.
  • AC/Solar Charger Priority: Adjust the charging priority to favor either solar power or the utility grid for battery charging.
  • Input Voltage Range: Select the acceptable input voltage range for the utility grid based on your connected loads (e.g., for sensitive electronics or standard appliances).

7.3 Operating Modes

  • Solar First: Prioritizes solar power for loads and battery charging.
  • Utility First: Prioritizes utility power for loads and battery charging.
  • SBU Priority: Solar -> Battery -> Utility.

7.4 Cold Start Function

The inverter features a cold start function, allowing it to power on directly from the battery even without AC input or solar power, useful in emergencies.

7.5 WIFI Remote Monitoring (Optional)

If equipped with the optional WIFI module, follow the instructions provided with the module to connect the inverter to your local network and enable remote monitoring via a dedicated application.
