5. Setup Guide
5.1. Battery Installation
- Transmitter: The 23A-12V battery is typically pre-installed. If not, open the battery compartment and insert the battery, observing polarity.
- Receiver: Open the battery compartment on the receiver unit. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

5.2. Channel Setting
Both the transmitter and receiver units feature DIP switches (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4) to select one of 16 available channels. For proper operation, the channel settings on both the transmitter and receiver MUST match.
- Locate the DIP switches on both the transmitter and receiver.
- Use a small tool (e.g., a pen tip) to set the switches to your desired channel. For example, to set channel 1, only switch 1 should be in the 'ON' position. To set channel 2, only switch 2 should be 'ON', and so on. Combinations of switches allow for 16 channels.
- Ensure the 'ON'/'DP' switch on the transmitter is set to 'ON' for normal operation.

5.3. Connecting to Camera and Flash
- Transmitter to Camera:
- Mount the transmitter onto your camera's hot shoe.
- If your camera does not have a hot shoe or requires a wired connection, use the provided connection cable to link the transmitter to your camera's PC sync port (if available).
- Receiver to Studio Flash:
- Connect the receiver to your studio flash unit. The receiver has a 3.5mm jack.
- If your studio flash has a 6.35mm input, use the included 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter.

6. Operation
- Ensure both the transmitter and receiver have matching channel settings and are powered on.
- Turn on your camera and studio flash unit.
- Take a test shot with your camera. The transmitter will send a signal to the receiver, which in turn triggers the studio flash.
- Verify that the flash fires correctly. If not, check battery levels and channel settings.
- The maximum effective working distance is 30 meters. Ensure the transmitter and receiver are within this range for optimal performance.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the units dry. Do not expose them to moisture or rain.
- Clean the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Remove batteries from both units if they will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Store the units in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting

- Always test your setup before a critical shoot to ensure all components are working correctly.
- Keep spare batteries for both the transmitter and receiver on hand, especially for longer sessions.
- When using multiple flash units, ensure each receiver is set to the same channel as the transmitter.
- For optimal range and reliability, avoid placing large metal objects or thick walls directly between the transmitter and receiver.
