5. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your chainsaw:

  1. Install Chain and Guide Plate: Install the chain and guide plate onto the sprocket. Adjust the screw with a screwdriver until the guide plate is fixed on the sprocket.

  3. Adjust Screws for Guide Plate: When installing the guide plate, adjust the screws to properly fix the guide plate.
  4. Install Bolts and Springs: As shown in the diagram, install the necessary bolts and springs.
  5. Insert Spring: Insert the spring into the small hole of the chainsaw.
  6. Install Safety Bezel and Baffle: Insert the screws into the screw holes of the safety bezel. Install the baffle onto the electric saw and tighten the screws.
  7. Install Cover: Install the side cover and tighten the screws.

Important Note on Chain Direction: When installing the chain, ensure the small cutting teeth on the upper part of the chain are on the left and the large cutting teeth are on the right. The direction of cutting teeth on the lower part of the chain should be opposite to the upper part.

6. Battery Charging Instructions

To charge the battery:

  1. Locate the charging hole in the middle of the battery.
  2. Insert the charger plug into the charging hole.
  3. Connect the adapter to a power socket.

Note: The red light on the charger indicates charging, and the green light indicates a full charge. Always remove the battery pack during installation and removal of the guide plate.

7. Operation

Before operating, ensure the battery is fully charged and the chain is correctly installed and tensioned.

7.1 Starting the Chainsaw

Press the lock button and then squeeze the trigger switch to start the chainsaw. Release the lock button once the saw is running.

7.2 Removing the Battery

To remove the battery, press the red button on the battery with one hand. With the other hand, hold the handle in the opposite direction and push the battery forward with your thumb at the same time.

7.3 Removing the Side Cover

To remove the side cover, unscrew the screw on the side cover counterclockwise and then remove the cover.

7.4 Removing the Chain

The chain can be directly removed by first taking out the side cover, then removing the guide plate, and finally pulling the chain down.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Chain Tension Adjustment

There is a screw on the back of the guide plate/chain fixing plate to adjust the tightness of the chain. The chain can be tightened by turning clockwise and loosened by turning counter-clockwise with the equipped screwdriver.

Note: It is normal for the chain to be slightly loose. If it is too tight, it will affect work efficiency. The best adjustment standard is to pull the chain in the middle of the guide plate by hand to expose 1-3 middle guide teeth.

8.2 Lubrication

The chainsaw features an oil injection device. Regularly add lubricating oil to the fuel tank port to ensure smooth operation and prolong the life of the chain and guide bar. (Note: Lubricating oil is not included with the product).

8.3 Cleaning and Storage

  • After each use, clean the chainsaw, especially the chain and guide bar, to remove sawdust and debris.
  • Store the chainsaw in its plastic box in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children.
  • Ensure the battery is removed from the tool during storage.
